This mount fit onto a RWS 350 Magnum without any problem. There were reviews that said that this mount had to be modified to fit their gun, but this wasn't the case for the RWS . The mount seems very strong and sturdy although a little short.t

So glad I read the reviews before posting. Everything about this adapter is what I was looking for to mount a red dot site on my Crosman 1077 Pellet Rifle, low profile, secure, exact length I needed. The only issue is the two small tabs next to the clamps on the end, they are too thick and need to be cut down to fit over the dovetail. Since they are aluminum it was easy to file them down, only took about 5 minutes and the it fit perfectly and worked well.

Excellent product made the red dot install a breeze on Browning 22 and Citadel 12 gauge. If you use on shotgun a little blu-loctite will keep it from vibrating loose from recoil.

Doesn't fit a 3/8 dovetail like it says. Don't waste your money. This is false advertising.

Read the other reviews regarding fit and ordered anyway hoping to make it work on a Henry H001 22LR. After 30 minutes of fiddling with filing the tabs to get a solid fit, I couldn't get the adapter to sit level and realized that even if I did, it likely wouldn't be a solid fit long-term. Not only do the tabs stop it from snapping onto the Henry, the top of the Henry is flat and the bottom of the adapter is rounded which makes getting it to sit flat an exercise in machining. Three stars because it seems like a quality adapter for the price. Also, giving the benefit of the doubt that it was designed for some dovetail, just doesn't fit the Henry and no additional info is provided by the seller on what it will and won't fit. If you're looking for an adapter for the Henry H001, check out DIP Inc, looks like they have one 3x the price but designed specifically for the rifle.

Great value for what it is. I had been searching years for a rail mount that would go on the dove tail rails of my 12 GA Beretta 400 duck gun since it is not drilled and tapped for a traditional scope mount or base.I have used this gun for deer hunting and dove hunting and sporting clays. I tried a reg dove tail scope mount but it would not hold zero and the scope slid on the rails. This is the lowest mount I could find and it spans and connects the two dove tail rails to make a solid mount. The bottom edge piece was a bit too rounded for my flat rib but a couple seconds on a power belt sander and it got flatter for a better fit. Ordering a second one now for my 20 GA Beretta 400.

Length fit 3/8 dovetail perfectly. Height was good. Most are too high. Good quality.

I purchased this adapter so I could mount various quick-detatch, Picatinny mounted optics between an AR-15 and a Marlin Model 60.However, it was obvious pretty quickly that the adapter was out-of-spec on the dovetail side. There are two "ears", one at the forward end of the adapter, one at the aft end - that don't quite allow it to mount directly down upon the Model 60's dovetail (I removed the clamps and set screws completely, just to be sure they weren't a factor).Attempting to slide the adapter (again with clamps and set screws removed) down the dovetail did a pretty good job of marring the finish on the dovetail (this is a brand new Marlin rifle). I gave up pretty quickly, as it was obviously going to take a rubber mallet to apply enough force to the adapter to slide those "ears" down the dovetail.I could file the ears off - but I was looking for something I could mount and remove fairly simply, depending upon whether I wished to use an optic or the iron sights (you can't see the Marlin Model 60's iron sights with this adapter in place) - and I'm not 100% confident the adapter will hold securely to the dovetail with the ears removed. Not something I wish to risk with an expensive 1-6X or red dot sight mounted.Caveat emptor.
