CLEVER DESIGN

  • Each tube is 46" long and connects to other tubes effortlessly via self-locking 2d connectors, which keep your frame set intact throughout your shot and thus are easier to remove for quick teardown and setup.

I have the Scrim Jim from Westcott and this is pretty much the exact same thing. I use the Westcott diffuser material on this no problemo and seems to be metal where it needs to be and plastic where it is on the Westscott. The only issue I can potentially see is the sticky material eventually lifting, but only time will tell.

so the basics, its a 4x4ft Frame, with Mounting points on each side of the frame and on both sides so it really doesn't matter how you snap it together.I would suggest getting the proaim snap frame ears for mounting it though.Pros:Good solid velcro along both sides of the frame,Very light Weight,Easy to build and takes a minute to set up once you have it out of the bag (Sold Seperately)Cons:Attachments slightly flimsier than Id like but with a tight cloth attached the frame holds together really well.Fairly expensive for what it is.Summary:Overall a great product and very handy to keep in the back of the van.
