Every once in a while you wish you had a more sturdy light stand. Sometimes it's windy outside or your light and softbox is heavier than you thought, or whatever. Stability is important. I saw these and thought this was the answer. These are so heavy it was shocking at first. Solid steel, big thick bolts, and strong casters. These are not moving. The casters lock so you can set the stand in place, lock the casters, and you're good to go. The upright post is removable and can be switched to either orientation. Also, the legs fold up for transport. I showed that in one of the photos. Now, they aren't very tall. These are for upright fill light or for low subjects, but that's OK. They still provide the solid base you sometimes need. When they arrive all you have to install is the casters and the upright post and you're ready to shoot. Everything else is already assembled, which is a huge plus. I haven't used them yet, but can't wait for that situation that will require them because I know I'm ready. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Gonna blame this mostly on Amazon's poor redistribution of previously returned and damaged items that just get shipped right off to customers expecting new stuff, but Neewer being a closely associated partner is nonetheless a bit to blame. Didn't love receiving obviously used and abused gear that I just bought. This has happened a whole lot lately, and mind you this was during the holiday season which is a lot on Amazon and their employees so, all good in that regard... just hope it doesn't happen as frequently as of late.As far as this piece of gear goes, it's sturdy and well-constructed for the most part and not to mention modular and therefore a pretty cool toy to have. It's also not to go unmentioned that it's a very portable stand. The wheels suck they're not pro at all but it's still nice to have locking wheels. The locking of the legs is so satisfying, I could make an ASMR video with these and it'd go viral and make lots of people happy. The different thread sizes are great, you can mount a camera, light, etc in different configurations and your inner geek will go wild.But... it's small. Like, of course it's going to be smaller in size as mentioned in the description but when you get to the point of needing another foot outta this stand you'll be sad. So plan on using this for a little kicker light on a backdrop or perhaps up-lighting on a subject, or a bit of fill. Tabletop stuff that's lower, that kinda thing.Okay I'm bored thanks for reading! cheers

I'm always looking for shorter lightstands to hold lights or reflectors in my studio, and I've always had a hard time finding something that can fit the bill. I purchased this light stand because I was looking for something shorter, and to be honest, I'm really impressed with the overall quality of the stand. It holds my gear securely and well, and the stand itself feels very stable.

These are well made, roll easily and are a good height. Perfect for use as a background light or under light. Note that you'll have to put them together when you get them but it was very easy to do. Wheels roll really well. Putting the wheel legs up with the lever was easy to do. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone who'd ask.

Nothing feels cheap or plastic about these. They hold DC powered, 600WS monolights with medium umbrellas without tipping. Great for low profile product shoots.

Muy buen producto, y de calidad espectacular, eso si, si teneis pensado elevarlo bastante (1,8m o mas) como yo, y poner un brazo horizontal de (60 o 80cm) es posible que se desestabilice un poco como a mi me ocurrió pero se soluciona con un poco de peso sobre las ruedas.En definitiva muy buen producto, lo recomiendo!
