I got this because I was filming a bunch of instructional videos and educational videos, and although I had a script, it was a pain in the butt to memorize the scripts. So, of course, I bought a teleprompter adaptor and repurposed my tablet into a teleprompter screen. I used a little Bluetooth presentation clicker that I had from school, and I was able to assign the two buttons to "start" the teleprompter and the other to "Return to the beginning" However when I was recording with longer scripts, I wished I would have a clicker with more buttons so I could just rewind a little instead of starting over from the beginning.I trust neewer as a brand, and they always have great products that make my job easier as a photographer/videographer, and this was no exception. It was easy to pair to my tablet, the setup with my app was quick, and it worked well. I have each of the five buttons set to a specific feature and its small enough that I just slide it into my pocket when I am not using it during the recording. I haven't used the Neewer Teleprompter app since I use teleprompter pro and that has been working for me and its now integrated into my workflow.If you are using a teleprompter, get yourself this remote. Especially if you are filming yourself.

I'm sure this device works fine but here's the issue. The problem isn't the "Remote Control" it's the software they want you to use from the Google Play Store- it won't allow you to set it up and it rejects our emails- why have people register at all to download that free app??? The company is hurting itself. If you can't use he software, you can't use the remote. I sent it back without ever trying it once.

I used this remote with the Neewer teleprompter app on an Android tablet. It's pretty easy to setup and use. The hardest part was figuring out that you needed to do a long press of the power button to turn it on. Reading the manual first would have told me that though, so that's on me.If you are using the Neewer app, you can pair the device from within the app. You can also pair it with your device just using the Android Bluetooth settings as well, but I would recommend using the app if possible so that the app is aware that you have a remote. The remote has a blue LED that flashes when in pairing mode, and is solid when connected.Operation is basic but easy. You can play/pause, change the font size, and change the speed. The buttons are soft and there are no audible clicks when you press them. This remote doesn't have quite as many features as some others, but I find it to be very practical in that it gives you what you need while reading without cluttering up the remote with buttons you don't need while doing so. It fits good in the hand, and it's easy to find the right buttons with your thumb without having to look.

I have a teleprompter from another company with a remote and app that are pretty clunky. I ended up using something I found free in the app store, but I didn't have much control over the speed of the scrolling text. With this remote and the app on my phone, I have much greater control of the speed and the direction of the text, forward and back. It took mre a little while on my phone to get the orientation correct on my tele-prompter (left to right, mirror image, etc..) but once that did, using the remote was very intuitive and very smooth. Will be using this set-up in my next youtube video. Thanks Neewer for another great product.

I like how technology is making stuff that was somewhat out of reach, so much more affordable and allows me to up my game for presentations. I installed the app in my iPad and had the remote connected and working in a matter of a couple of minutes. The remote allows you to zoom the text, jump forward and back and start auto scrolling. The app is nice because you can cut and paste text into it or you can enable a wi-fi connection to it and drop the text from another computer to my iPad. Worked perfectly for me out of the box and from a brand I've had good luck with in the past.

I've got a NEEWER teleprompter. It came with a remote but there's a better than average chance that it'll get lost at some point. Now I don't have to worry about that as I've got a spare. Identical to the original remote, except the original is white. Highly recommended!

Using the app, this bluetooth remote works great.I had trouble connecting once and had to restart my device but that may not be the fault of the remote.It simplifies the teleprompting process and have many handy features.It's made of plastic making it lightweight but does not feel it's rather delicate and won't take much abuse.Very happy with it so far.

Ich habe bereits einen Teleprompter von Neewer, wo eine weiße Fernbedienung RT110 beilag. Da ich schwarz lieber mag und eine Ersatz FB gerne hätte, hatte ich mich für dieRT111 entschieden. Gut verpackt mit einer Anleitung (auszugsweise, siehe Fotos) wurde sie ohne Batterien (2x AAA) von Amazon geliefert. Auf den ersten Blick gefiel sie mir sofort, vor allem wegen der Farbe.2 AAA Batterien eingelegt und los geht's. Wichtig, zuerst die NEEWER Teleprompter App aufs Smartphone oder Tablet runterladen und installieren. Dann die BT Verbindungen herstellen. Ein Vorteil dieser FB ist, dass sie auch mit anderen Teleprompter kompatibel ist. Das hat mich überrascht, denn das hatte ich mal ausprobiert. Das funktionierte perfekt.Die Bedienung geht genauso gut wie mit der Weißen. Sie liegt gut in der Hand und funktioniert einwandfrei. Die Verarbeitung ist sauber und die Qualität stimmt auch, wie von Neewer gewohnt. Denn von diesem Hersteller habe ich bereits einige Produkte in meinem Foto-Equipment, was alles einwandfrei ist. Qualität die sich sehen lassen kann und das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmte auch immer. Erstmal bisschen zu meinem Usecase: Ich nutze des Öfteren bei statische Moderationen einen Teleprompter, sowohl für YouTube, als auch Imagefilme etc. wo man doch durchaus auch mal Leute vor der Kamera sitzen hat, die sich nicht sonderlich wohl dabei fühlen. Als Software/App nutz ich dafür schon seit Jahren "Nano Teleprompter".Vor allem für Aufnahmen im Studio wo ich selbst vor der Kamera sitze fänd ich so eine Fernbedienung schon echt praktisch, aber die Neewer Fernbedienung hier ists garantiert nicht... Grundsätzlich find ichs schon mal absolut grässlich, dass man permanent einen hochfrequenten Piepton hat sobald die Fernbedienung eingeschalten und mit Bluetooth verbunden ist, dazu dann noch die ziemlich dürftige App- nein danke! Finds zwar gut das Neewer ENDLICH abgelegt hat einen dazu zu zwingen ein Nutzerkonto in ihren Apps anzulegen, aber bei der Neewer Teleprompter App fehlts einem einfach hinten und vorne an Features. Keine Option die Schriftfarbe zu ändern, keine Option diesen komischen knallig roten Balken mitten im Bild wegzukriegen der einem signalisieren sollte wo man grade im Skript ist, in der Praxis aber einfach nur nervt weil er viel zu Penetrant im Vergleich zu anderen Telepromter Softwares ist, und und und...
