This 2-piece kit comes with an 8-inch extension flex bar with a 3/8-inch drive and a 6-inch extension flex bar with a 1/4-inch drive. These long extension bars are made of durable high-quality chrome vanadium steel that can endure even the toughest fasteners. Each bar features a mirrored chrome finish for a professional look and easy removal of dirt and grime. The square-drive radius corners help reduce tool and socket wear over time.
These bars are ideal for reaching narrow or hard-to-access areas to get to hidden nuts and bolts. The tightly coiled steel springs let you reach awkward spots up to 45° while maintaining great rotational torque transfer. The springs are protected from exterior elements by PVC sleeves, and the ball detent on each drive head allows you to securely latch the sockets without them dropping into machinery. These feel pretty heavy and solid, and they work exactly as I needed them to. Nothing complicated, I used the 10" extender to be able to reach down into my car engine bay and open the automatic transmission fluid bolt. Those are known to be *very* tight, and it took a lot of force to open, but this extender worked perfectly. Happy customer.

In a knee-jerk reaction to a last minute need for locking extensions, I bought these. I’m very happy with the purchase. These have a nice secure lock.My only gripe is they are completely unmarked, so there’s no recourse when/if there’s an issue with these in the future.By contrast, if I bought the similar product from “HFâ€, it would have a lifetime warranty.

I'm surprised how good they are, but I also have the 3/8 drive socket set, their flex head ratcheting wrenches in sae and metric, their socket Allen set, a med size adjustable wrench, and then this extension set, they ALL work great. I'm a fleet mechanic and I work on everything from am air compressor to 53ft trailers. They haven't let me down yet. I also have snap on, matco, Mac, gearwrench tools, this brand Duratech works just as well as all my other tools. Great company. Update* 8/2/24 blew apart the small 3 inch extension. Looking to try to warranty thru company, can't find contact info.

A couple things to know they are not a snake and only bend a little. If it's hard to get to and needs an impact driver to get it off these won't help. These are only good for after the nut has been broke from being stubborn. Don't try to use with an impact driver I did while replacing the thermostat on the truck and it now has a permanent bend in it at the point of the driver seems like whatever in in the inside of it didn't agree with the amount of spinning and something inside snapped or bent.
