My son is a beginner sax player. The neck strap that came with his sax was leaving a deep red mark on his neck. This strap is perfect for preventing that and he says it is much more comfortable.

As opposed to all other reviews, I did not find this strap comfortable at all. The cushion was too large to allow adequate neck extension, felt like it was cutting into my neck. Strap itself was too short for me. I am 5’2 and used this with an alto sax. It was slightly too short for my comfort, however this size was what was recommended.. I do not agree. Definitely returned the item.
