This was the book that my son's 6th grade music instructor told me I needed to buy him for his Viola lessons. This book is MUCH less expensive on Amazon then it is in the music store and it is much more accessibleThis book really helped my son learn the basics of playing the Viola. He had never picked up an instrument prior to playing the Viola and the way this book is laid out it is very clear and easy to understand. It comes with a DVD in the back that really helps as well. I highly reccomend this book to anyone that wants to learn the Viola.

Pretty basic book but most schools use it. Reliable information and pretty well written actually.It has its upsides but honestly, I always recommend Suzuki Method for my students.

Rinse and repeatHopefully, the kids would learn viola and this book would help in keeping notes together.

We have this at our school and I LOVE it!!!!!!!! On some kids the cover fell off it because they don't take care of it but this is great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Viola/Violin player

i did not choose the option used, i see through the options that the Used-Good version is like 3$, this was much more and it came with the cover almost all detached, preowned by Ava and with pen marks. definitely not expected this poor quality.

This is the standard book needed for my daughter's lessons. It was in great condition; I like the fact that there are questions throughout the lessons that she can answer.
