I purchased this remote controller to use with my dump trailer. This controller is ruggedly built and operates as advertised, but is lacking in specific wiring information. My trailer has 3 solenoids -- one for up, one for down and one to operate the pump motor for both up and down. All 3 solenoids require +12 volts to operate, but this remote controller provides only 2 connections for up and down, and both provide ground outputs, not +12 volts. In order to make this controller work with my trailer, I had to construct an interface consisting of two relays, each with 2 sets of contacts. I wired the remote controller to activate the relay coils, and wired the relay contacts to provide +12 volts to my trailer's solenoids. Not difficult to do, but is an extra project to make it work. However, having the wireless remote capability made it all worth doing. Be sure to check your application's wiring first, and be aware that some extra effort might be necessary. Other than that, it's a great controller.

Easy to install. If you need a hot to run the pump as well as a wire to the soloniod, you will need to add diodes

Like the headline says, now I can spread/tailgate gravel from my dump trailer while driving my truck. That was one of my biggest complaints when I got the dump trailer was I couldn't control it from inside my truck. Now, I can do it either way.I'm very pleased with this product.

I got this for a home built dump trailer. it was easy to wire it in to the hydraulic unit. i havent tried the remote yet, but the corded remote works perfectly.

This is a very well made and easy to install kit to provide a wireless remote for most of your construction and rescue gear. The NEWTRY 'crane remote' is a 3 piece kit of a junction box with electronics to interface with a weatherproof remote control box. And there is a 3rd wired control. The control junction is a simple reverse polarity relay for reversing direction of most motors. Be it driving hydraulics or directly a winch.I got this to provide wireless remote to an old bumper winch. Much safer than to stand there next to the hood or be in the cab operating it. If you're enterprising, you can add this control kit to any number of applicable equipment. The system appears to be decent quality, dropping it hasn't damaged it any. It provides basic forward/reverse operation. It's affordable and simple to install.

There can be used to control anything with an up/down or in/out function. I put this on my dump truck to control the electric pump and dump valve. Easy to wire up, even if you have to do a trial and error on the wiring its easy to figure out. This now give me wire or wireless control in the cab and wireless outside. I just use the wireless remote, keep the wired for a back up when needed. Range and connectivity has been good.

The instructions are minimal, and I had a hard time installing this. I finally managed to install it on my overhead crane, but it was not easy, mainly due to how my unit was wired. I used to have to run up and down the stairs in my shop to raise and lower the winch cable, but with this remote control, it saves me a lot of unwanted exercise. I would buy this crane remote again.
