…for being able to swap this out for my daughter myself.The two hardest parts are removing the theft proof OEM screws. You’re going to need to be patient first, have a dremel tool to cut a slot for a screwdriver, probably have to tap the screwdriver to force the screw counterclockwise…and did I mention patience? Listen, don’t get frustrated thinking it will never come out, it absolutely will. Once you’re done you’ll think wow, I would have done that different or gotten less frustrated but this is a skill you may only practice once in your life, so enjoy my saving $500 for not having a mechanic do it for you.

Had locksmith come out and went to another locksmith... Both couldn't program keys 😞 stressful and costly!

Keys that came with an ignition switch chip inside keys do not match or work with those keys.The chips in inside the keys did not work, a response was sent when I was asked did the product work for me. I stated the ignition switch worked fine but the chips would not register. I spoke to Ashli this morning he said I need to contact NewYall they can possibly send me new chips for the keys, what I need is a phone number so I can contact NewYall. Can someone get me a # MY CAR WONT START.

Save the old key and old ignition mobilizer and replace on the new one otherwise you will need a scan tool to program. Hold the old key backwards with black part with chip against new key black part. Should turn over.

Have a 03 Element the lock install went reasonably well. The keys supplied were not compatible wrong chip & unable to re-program. The car would require new keys and programming by dealer or lock smith. Had previously replaced the lock tumbler was able to pry open the key handle remove blade dismantled supplied key inserted blade couple of adjustments works fine.

We were unsuccessful reprogramming the chipped keys to work with the new ignition. We ended up hiding one of the original keys in the steering column to make it work.
