Does the wireless remote-control kit fit my ceiling fan perfectly?

I bought 5 of these to add lights to existing fans. The problem where one remote operates more than one device has been fixed as each unit has its own frequency.

Before, I had to get up out of my chair to turn my fan on/off or change the speed. Who has time for that?!? This was mildly annoying to install, but if you've installed a ceiling fan before and you're comfortable with that then it won't be too bad for you. If you're not comfortable with that, definitely hire someone. No matter how you get it installed, once it is, laziness is yours!

This was fairly simple. Remove the old one and connect the new one, just follow the color of the wires and what they do. I only had one issue with the new one. It was about a QUARTER INCH THICKER than the old one. So I had to install a couple of washers to bring down the old bracket to allow that new unit to fit. Not a big deal, but most people wouldn’t know how to do that. So that’s why I deducted one star. Otherwise, I like the remote control with the timer feature, and I like the low cost of this unit.
