The Nextec sander works well and I can’t understand why the tool system is not still produced. I’ll just keep using them. They are all fine light weight tools just right for the average handyman.

I got the Nextec 90 degree right angle impact driver last year and decided to add this to the collection. So far I got it, plugged in the battery and turned it on. It is very lightweight and will be easy to use. This is the type of tool that I'd rather not mess with a cord. It came with one piece of sandpaper and a dust collection attachment (that is the little thing sticking out the back in the picture). It doesn't come with a case but it is the perfect size to fit in the carry case that came with my impact driver (which had a ton of extra room so why not fill it up).

Basically it sands just fine. The idea of hooking a large diameter air hose to this little sander doesn't make sense, and AC power cord would be much lighter and more flexible. Craftsman has a unique air hole pattern on this machine and they don't seem to sell sand paper for it any more. There are completive sand papers that have the same outline but the holes either don't exist or don't line up. There are others with self contained dust collectors and that you can get compatible sand paper. Buy something else.

received one in kit of 4 tools 9 years ago best small sander ever had can hold in my hand and is easy to hold i make small wood parts for wood toys
