NICE-POWER R-SPS High Power Bench DC Power Supply
NICE-POWER R-SPS high power series dc power supplies are specially designed for use in laboratories, schools and production lines, with output voltage and output current that can be continuously adjusted between 0 and nominal values. The stability and ripple coefficient of the power supply are very good. With short-circuit protection, over-voltage protection, over-current protection, over-temperature protection and other protection circuits, can work at full load for a long time, the power supply can be used as both a regulated voltage power supply and a regulated current power supply, loved by the majority of users.
Warm tips for charging lithium batteries:
- Please connect the positive and negative poles of the DC power supply with the positive and negative poles of the battery correspondingly;
- When the charging current ≤ 50mA, please disconnect the battery in time to avoid overcharging;
- The charging limiting voltage follows the following calculation formula:
Charging voltage = 1.2 * battery rated voltage.
Charging current = 1/3 battery rated current.
Please note: Due to the design of the power supply, the front panel is only suitable for output currents up to 5A. To avoid damaging the power supply, connect the high current connector on the back of the unit for output currents above 5A. The back panel can reach the maximum current of the purchased specification: for example, if you purchase 30V 30A, the current can reach 30A by connecting the back panel high-current terminal.
Stable Output

The DC supply outputs the full 600W at 60V, 10A and it runs cool, with the fan switching in periodically, the fan was quiet. The efficiency at 60V 10A was 91%. The efficiency dropped slightly at lower power levels for example the efficiency at 400W was 87.7%, which is pretty good for a variable DC supply. I use this supply to charge a Lithium-ion Power Station by connecting it to the solar input setting the voltage to 60V and use the current limit to set the charge rate.As another reviewer has noted the power supply does not have an output disable switch. That is true, the process I use is to pre-set the output voltage and current limit with the load disconnected. Turn off the supply, wait for the output capacitors to discharge (to prevent high current capacitive discharge) then connect the load. Turning on the power supply using the AC power switch provides a controlled startup and correctly slews up the voltage while using the current limit to limit the voltage and to detect short circuits.This unit works great for me. I plug the power supply (pre-set to 60v, 10A) into a BN-LINK Digital Timer Outlet and set it turn on for one hour per week to keep my Lithium-ion Power Station fully charged when it's not being used.

When reading or testing on my cars OBD2, it requires the ignition to be ON but not always with the engine running. This puts a drain on the battery. I have a smaller power supply but it maxes out at 10 amps.This power supply is more than enough to allow the car's battery to stay with a constant voltage while the engine is off.

Nice power 60V 20 amp, bench top power supply. Used it to charge Lithium Fe phosphate batteries, stopped working after 3 months, shows voltage will not pass through any current. Batteries are fine and able to charge with a different charger. Bluetooth app for batteries shows no current from this bench top supply. Hope Nice Power will correct issue with replacement or refund

Works okay and arrived in a well padded box. I'm deducting a star because the voltage adjustment knob doesn't turn smoothly due to poor manufacturing tolerances. I filed down the outer edge of the knob which helped a bit, but it's not something I should have to do. Overall the power supply feels a bit cheaply made. Here's hoping it holds up. The internal fan isn't too loud when it kicks on.

Not only does it work, but it is extremely intuitive and easy to use. I like the heavy lugs on the back as well. Mine is on and powering 24/7 and stays where you set it. Even if you turn it off or pull the plug, it comes right back where it was previously set.

I bought this in September 2024, used it twice, everything was fine. Today is January 2025, and I used it today to test the LEDs. The room was 68F, an hour later it was standing without a load and something clicked inside. Now it does not turn on. The fuse in the back burned out like soot. I am very unhappy. The product cannot be returned and I need to buy another power supply. Tomorrow I will attach photosLater the store contacted me and they solved my problem. Thanks to them.
