Bought this to file some teeth on a knife of HRC 60., the file would not cut the hardness of the knife. Worked ok on non hardened steel. Don’t know if nicholnson makes one of higher hardness, if so they should mention that in their description.

The file is fine -- nothing special -- but the handle fell off the first time I used it. I'm sure I can glue it back on but for the price it should have been properly glued at the factory.
