I had an absolutely mess of electrical on a 30 year old truck. This box allowed me connect the original wires from the truck, a 4 pin connection, 6 pin connection and a 7 pin connection on a 30 year old truck.

Cheapest price I could find for a junction box. Granted, there’s nothing special about them, but still. Seems to be plenty good enough quality. I do like how the terminal studs are painted to match wire color

Nice concept to help with re-wiring an old trailer. I bought this because my trailer has several 12v accessories that need to tie in - lights, breakaway box, power tongue jack etc. the box gets pretty crowded after you run all of that plus the standard wires inside. The box has I integrated wire clamps on some of the “knockouts†but they are thin plastic and don’t really grip the wire. Also the box is not self grounding via the mount bolts, so you need to run a wire out for that. Finally note that the included color code diagram is incorrect for 7 blade RV plugs in North America.

Overall, great product for the price. Made it easy to install the 7-way pigtail. As a retired industrial maintenance electronics technician. I can fully appreciate the product. Been looking for a similar product for quite a while.I used various diameters of heat shrink to to bundle the wires. Heat shrink goes inside the product.There is plenty of room for wire placement.For my particular installation, I had to lengthen the wires from the trailer end. Set that up first and made sure to use the colors in this product.Tested with a IPA Light Ranger MUTT before final installation and checked out OK.The only cons: No locking nut(s) for the studs and the plastic wire clamps cannot take a lot of torque when tightening the screws.Otherwise, I'll recommend this product to anyone who has a similar setup.Used on a 6'x12' tandem axle dump trailer.

Short story, new tow vehicle with the trailer connector in a different location. The old wiring was just too tight. I should have bought the 10ft length, but wanted to make sure it would be long enough.I had to ty wrap the excess length to the 5th wheel hitch to keep it from dragging on the ground, but I'll never have an issue with reaching anywhere on the back end of my tow vehicle to plug it in.
