1st time having issues with LED bulbs flickering even with built in can busses. But used these CANbus Decoder - Anti-Flickering Harness on my 2015 Jeep Patriot, literally eliminating flickering and flashing headlights, highly recommend.

I bought these to eliminate check bulb codes for left and right high & low beams after installing Sylvania LED bulbs that I bought locally because Prime shipping on the bulbs I really wanted would take a week since moving out of the city, and I needed them prior to a trip. These CAN decoders work as long as you only use low beam. when you use high beams all 4 message codes appear for left and right high and low beams, so they really do not help as I use both high beams at times when I drive. Prior to installation I got 2 codes with low beams on and the other 2 came on with high beams. With these decoders I get no messages with low beams but all fur messages come on with high beams. Not worth $26+ with tax as I eventually still get the bulb out messages on my 2006 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition. Also, the output plugs do not lock securely to the bulb leads, they could vibrate loose and the lights disconnect despite interlock. If they had worked, I would have tried to zip tie and tape the output connectors to the bulb leads, but that would be wonky. They can start to separate before the interlocking tab even catches. UNSAFE! Normally NiLight products have pleased me, but not this time.

Product looks well built, feels very sturdy and rugged. Although it Didn't fix my error message on my Audi, it might work for some other car company. With that being said there are a few Cons about the item I didn't like.One being the wire are a little too short for my liking, they could be extend a few more inches so we can either tuck them away or mount them in a better location. Another thing I dislike are the mounting hole that is attached on the top of the unit. It is pretty small and close the housing so in reality a small 10mm or a 1/4" bolt cannot even fit, you would have to use a tiny zip tie/ cable tie to attach somewhere which doesn't look good and clean to me.Like I said this is just my overall impression of the product. Looks and feels good, it just didn't work for my specific vehicle.

I have a 2015 jeep cherokee, and had an error code , lights would turn on then immediately turn off. I had tried a cheap set of resistors they did not fix it . So I decided to spend more money in hopes these would work . AND THESE FIXED IT

Did not work with my 2005 Chevy cavalier. Lights flickered a few times then service engine light comes on and lights turn off.
