The Nobsound Spring footers work very well to both isolate your equipment from external vibration and draw any vibrations generated by your devices out and away. The most notable benefits to audio equipment include improved center fill and depth of the sound stage as well as improved imaging. These spring units outperform Vibrapods, Cardas myrtlewood blocks, Sorbathane pucks, spiked feet, and thick maple platforms (and, for the most part, cost less). All of my equipment, including turntable, phono preamp, line stage, CD transport, DAC, amplifiers, tube headphone amp, and streamer are supported by these footers. Yes, even the electronics without moving parts (such as DAC, streamer, solid state and tubed devices) benefit, though to different degrees, as very low level vibrations generated by power supplies and such are carried any from the devices. The more resolving the equipment, the more apparent the benefit. These spring footers can also counter problems such as turntables disturbed by footfalls, but only to a mild-to-moderate degree. Further overall benefit is derived when used in combination with a quality equipment stand. As for UHD disk player, audio performance is again improved but for video the benefit appears minimal. Highly recommended, but YMMV.

Got these for a new NAS with super noisy spinning hard disks, it didn't work by itself very well as most of the noise was still transferring to the wooden bookshelf and making noises. I add some rubber isolating half domes on top of these and they killed a whole lot of the noise, then these are good enough to kill the remainder of the vibrations so only around 5-10% of the original noise can be heard at the worst of times - amazing.

I have my turntable set up in what is an admittedly bad spot. Alas, my living room doesn't lend itself well to proper setup of audio devices. My turntable sits on a cheap entertainment center flanked on either side by some tower speakers and a center channel. Whats more is it sits pretty much right in front of my SVS subwoofer. Volume on my AVR maxes out at 70. When playing records loudly, which is the only way, at around volume 53 the bass and vibrations from everything would begin to reverberate through the tonearm and feedback horribly. With these in place I am now able to crank the volume to ~67 before this occurs. By then its so loud it sounds like crap regardless of the source. The did make a difference in regard to foot falls and I am able to jump in place several feet from my record player now without any skips. Not bad. Ill say that they are a little wonky to set up as nothing holds the springs in other than the holes drilled into the plates. They are fine once weight is applied but they can be a little tricky to place. They seems to be high quality and I am very happy with the results.

Okay, so the "bottom line" except at the top is that any way you look at it these are a great value. Precisely machined and polished with not a rough or sharp edge to be found. So how do they do it at such low price? Actually, I don't know all of it, but my guess is a big aspect of the pricing is the fact that the buyer has to assemble each foot. For the price, NOT a big deal at all. Still, all told, between separating the "tangled" springs, peeling and sticking the rubber pads and then inserting the springs in the holes, it probably took 20 minutes. Once the springs are in the holes they feel very solid. For instance, I don't they fall out even if held upside down.As my picture shows, they look great, and I'm using them under a turntable that's around 25 lbs. I may take some springs out to see what works best, but as they are now, the sound great!

does not absorb shocks. When walking by turntable while playing the record skips. so they don't absorb vibrations like I had hoped

I have a VPI Aries Scout that requires the user to supply a his own isolation stand. I use a one inch thick piece of Silestone kitchen counter top as the heavy mass. The turntable and the Silestone base together weigh at least 75 Lbs. See picture. When I saw the Nobsound feet with the springs, I thought I would give them a try - especially for the price. They really do attenuate vibrations from the record cabinet on which the turntable is placed. Now I can tap on the record cabinet top and not a hear a thing, even with the volume turned way up.When you tap on the turntable the entire assembly oscillates as one would expect - after all, it is spring loaded. I estimate the frequency of oscillation to be around 6Hz which is way below the lower frequency limit of the hifi system. So I now have an effective turntable isolation system that rejects anything above say 12-15 Hz. I use all 7 springs in each foot and the spring compression is somewhere between 20-40 percent. One foot gets almost completely compressed with about 40 Lbs of weight. The only thing I may add to this system would be a piece of dense wood (MDF?) between the turntable and the Silestone slab to block some ringing of the slab itself. This is a simple system that doesn't cost very much and really does the trick.

I wanted to try vibration isolation (from the floor) of my speakers and see what (if any) difference it made to sound quality. I was actually surprised to hear a noticeable difference (including: a quieter "background" to the soundstage; a more expansive soundstage; better definition with more detail and texture, particularly in the midrange and upper register) that makes my listening experience more enjoyable. For relatively low cost, these allowed me the opportunity for an extended home listening test of speaker vibration isolation. As of now, it looks like these are on their way to becoming a permanent part of my system.I did not give these an "adhesion" rating in this review. They are not intended to adhere to things and that is not am important feature to me.

Used these little, well made risers to lift my Subwoofer off the carpet. They made a huge difference and now the LFE of the sub is much better. Less boom & much punchier. Being able to adjust how soft it firm you want them by removing some of the springs is great. Very happy with these!!

Reduce la vibración del 5 a 0.3 de acuerdo a la app de medición de vibraciones. Además se ven muy bien y resaltan la belleza de los aparatos.

I bought this to help with skipping on my record player when I am walking close to it. After installation under the record player and then under an isolation wood block it was about 3 times more sensitive.Does not work at all to isolate against that type of vibration.
