Great quality pan at a good price. Super non - stick coating. Clean up was a snap. Its fun to fill the pancake balls with different things like jams and chocolate. Super fun. Very happy I purchased!

I love my new pan. It's durable, yet lightweight and my Elbelskivers turned out great. I have used the heavier cast iron type in past and while it worked just fine, the weight became too much for me. Also, it was harder to clean. This one is a breeze to clean. Highly recommend it!

My family's Christmas traditions have always included a Christmas Eve meal of Aebleskiver with all the Danish trimmings. My children have been raised with this tradition, and now their children are doing the same. Over the years I have collected cast iron pans for all of my children so that they can continue the traditions. My youngest, a junior In college, has prepared Aebleskiver for his friends at school! My wife just moved to a new home after living in the old house 25+ years. Our Aebleskiver was always made on a gas stove. The new house has a glass top electric stove. I did some research on line and there were many comments saying that one could damage the glass surface on the stove by using cast iron pans. I communicated with the family that our Christmas Eve tradition might have to change.I then searched Amazon and saw the Norpro 3113 pan. Aluminum? Nonstick? From the comments written by other buyers, thy said that it worked well on their glass top electric stoves without causing any damage. Hmmmmmm. What do I have to lose?I ordered 2 pans and they were delivered super fast. When all of the troops arrived, the batter was tripled and prepared like always. My daughter helped me make the Aebleskiver, both pans in action over medium heat with adjustments alone the way. The Aebleskiver came out perfect. We used canola spray on the nonstick surface before refilling each time. These pans do what they say they will do. The cost is minimal and the nonstick is a real treat! Others may have other results, but from a guy who has "flipped and turned" Aebleskiver for 45+ years, these pans saved our family tradition! We will quadruple the recipe next year!!!

This is a good pan for making Aebleskiver, I trued a small cast iron one first but didn't like it so I got this one.

For all those non-professional cooks out there.... This pan worked fantastic; I've made two double-batches of Abelskivers with this pan; just fine, thank you!

We were influenced by a neighbor to get one of these and we are in love. We used it three times in the first week we bought it. Easy to use. Easy to clean! So much better than standard pancakes. We even stuffed some with bacon. Some with peanut butter. Some with Nutella and some with chocolate chips. The kids were in heaven! Kind of want a second one.. I do have to say it’s easiest for me to flip them with a spoon. Such a fun buy!

I wanted to have some fun with this pan but unfortunately I've run into a problem that I had not anticipated despite my attempt at careful research re. reading of specs and reviews. The pan itself looks well made as to the materials, is lightweight as advertised, and the surface appears that it will be easy to clean. What has me stymied to be able to use it, is that the bottom circular edge is not small enough to entirely fit level on my stove burner's grate, nor quite large enough to span the grate. If I remove the grate, the pan sits too low to the flame and only the center will cook while leaving all of the outside wells undercooked. Just a heads up to anyone considering this pan to use on a gas burner grate, to compare the outside circumference of the pan to their grate circumference.

Worked well on my electric stove. Cleaning was easy due to the non stick surface. Heats fairly fast due to the aluminium construction and is definitely lighter than cast iron and easier to care for. The only criticism I have is that the wells are not deep enough to create aebleskivers that are perfectly spherical. Rather it creates the more oblong shaped Danish pancakes. Still it was fun to make. It seems to work well when the heat is set slightly above medium. My cousins' kids certainly enjoyed them. Especially the chocolate filled ones and the ones with hot dog and cheese. My preference was ones filled with raspberry jam.Update: I made takoyaki the other week-end and the pan worked perfectly. Traditional takoyaki pans have smaller diameter cavities so cooking time takes a bit longer with this abelskiver pan. If you rotate the takoyaki balls often, you can create spherical instead of oblate shaped ones. Olive oil worked well with the heat set between low and medium. I didn't have octopus on hand, so I used raw shrimp instead. So technically I made ebiyaki instead of takoyaki. The following recipe is enough to make seven. You usually get six takoyaki per order from a street vendor in Japan. Three or four takoyaki balls from this pan is more than enough for a meal. The cavities in this pan are 2.25" in diameter. There is some shrinkage during the cooking so in the end, the takoyaki balls were approximately 2" in size. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. I consumed ten in one sitting and had to put on sweat pants. I was in a world of hurt that evening, but boy were they good!Batter recipe:1 cup dashi1 egg0.5 tsp soy sauce0.5 cup all purpose flour1 green onion finely chopped1 tbsp pickled ginger finely chopped2-3 raw shrimp, shelled and deveined per ballTopping:Tonkatsu sauceMayonnaiseBonita flakesCrushed dried seaweed

I've wanted to try an "Aebleskiver" pan for the longest time. The price is just-right on this pan. The non-stick has been wonderful, so far, but they key (I think) is to make sure you oil each well and that you keep the heat on low-medium. It heats up fast on my electric stovetop so I'm good to go in no-time. I like making savory things, like potato dumpling type things, in this pan as opposed to just sweet treats. I haven't actually made pancakes in this yet, so there you go! I'm glad I got this pan and I'm looking forward to exploring more creatives uses for it.

This pan makes great rounded mini pancakes. It’s does get really hot even if it’s cooking on low. I find when you have to flip it over the pancakes are burnt on one side for some reason. It’s easy to clean and use. I wish the cavities were just a bit smaller. Otherwise it’s a good pan.
