Nice economical micrometer. I’m use to using more expensive mics. This I use for my locksmith in a bag/box where if it gets damaged, it won’t cost me an arm and both legs to fix or replace. It isn’t meant for vernier measurements but it does have 1/2 marks. Nice box and adjustment tool ( see below). The only negative is that zero is a little hard to maintain after storage. I’m use to the aforementioned expensive sets so taking a little time to get it back to zero, with the tool, is no big deal.Overall, if you want a general use, inexpensive mic—- get this.

Stays true, easily adjusted to .001, and so far consistent. Surprised me how solid built for price.

I used this to find the diameter of fishing line, and it measured everything accurately.
