This is a nice little hobby saw. I love the size. I can store it easily, even in my tiny workshop. When it comes time to put it into service, setup is quick and simple, especially if the correct blade is already installed. All three pictured blades were included. I immediately installed the 60t blade and gave it a try. Installation was easy, though the process does have room for improvement. To get to the blade arbor, one must remove the entire table from the base (it's four screws in the corners). There's a drive belt that needs to be dealt with when the table is reattached to the base. All the necessary wrenches were included. There are two key features I wish this saw had: 1) blade height adjustment, and 2) arbor tilt. The blade height is fixed at a fairly tall height for such a small blade. It's square to the table, near as I can tell. I guess it would be nice if there was a miter slot on both sides of the blade instead of only on the left, but that's less critical to full table saw function. Removable/replaceable throat plates would be nice, too.Back to blade height, the 80mm blade is exposed just enough to cut through 3/4" boards. Not only did it cut the pine successfully, it was a very, very smooth cut. I was able to cut strips a bit thinner than 2mm, which I then cut into strips that were 4mm wide. Nice, consistent cuts. The amount of exposed blade makes ripping thinner material a little less fun; the out feed starts to flap around crazily once the blade starts grabbing at it. I had to hold it down on the table with my free hand. Adjustable blade height would mitigate that problem. The rip fence is quick and easy to install and adjust. The measurements marked on the table were about 1mm off from accurate, but they matched each other. As long as I was careful lining up both sides of the fence on the scale, I got square cuts. Of course, it's always a good idea to check it with a square to be sure. The miter gauge was an easy assembly and seems to be pretty accurate. It slides freely through the lone miter slot, and it passes maybe 10mm from the blade, so even fairly short stuff can be crosscut without too much difficulty or excessive danger. It's not very loud as power saws go. I don't think I would try to use it if someone was trying to sleep or something, but it's fairly quiet. Most of the sawdust stays in the dust box under the table. No way built in to hook up vacuum, but it's pretty easy to shake the sawdust out into the garbage. Hardly any accumulated outside the dust box. A quick pass with a dustbuster and it was all cleaned up.For the money, this one is tough to beat. It's missing a couple features, but it sure does what it says on the box. A hobby saw that does everything this one does, as well as offering the adjustable blade height, tilt arbor, and so forth is about 4 times the cost (more than a lot of full-size, full-featured table saws). Overall, I'm pretty happy with this purchase.Bottom line: this is a great value for the money. It's well built. I expect it to last a long time.I would recommend this saw to any casual hobbyist, and maybe even the more dedicated ones. I would not recommend this saw to anyone who needs a tilt arbor and/or blade height adjustment. One more thing to consider is tat this saw has an unusual arbor size at 16mm, so there aren't that many blades out there to choose from. In fact, I haven't been able to find any aside from those that were included with the saw.

The first thing I did when I got this was cut a bunch of weird stuff. I have to say for what this is, I like it.I read the reviews that mention that it bogs down. Any saw will bog down if you twist what you're cutting. If you hold your piece steady, cut straight, and go slow, it cuts just fine. I cut 1/2" plywood pieces just fine. I cut thick oak bark, cutting first on one side, then flipping it and following the line to cut the other side. I cut grooves and angles and little rounded (ish) ends. The cuts are smooth without jagged edges.I like that you can cut from either side of the blade. I like that you can hold a piece and just kind of manipulate it into the saw blade. There's no instructions, and there's at least one part that I don't know what to do with. There's also a hose thing that I think is supposed to attached to the hole in the back where the sawdust comes out, but there's no way it fits. The hole in the back is worrying. It's supposed to let the sawdust escape, but the blade is RIGHT THERE, and if you're grabbing or holding the machine (because it's so small and it moves), your finger can slip right in there. You have to be VERY MINDFUL when using this. Also it's so small, it feels like a toy. The urge to just reach over and grab that errant scrap or piece that's caught or whatever is SO strong. This is a real spinning saw blade that will slice fingers immediately if they get near. You have to always keep in mind to use a push bar to move your scraps. There's an easy flip button to turn it off if you need to use your hands for anything. All in all I'm glad I bought this, and I think I will get a lot of use out of it. It's so much easier for small projects than hand sawing, or trying to use the big saw for little pieces.I do wish it came with a case. Right now I'm keeping it and all its blades, tools, and parts in the box it came in, and that's okay but not what I would prefer.

I really love this little saw, and would give it 5 stars if a couple of ergonomic issues would be fixed. But those aside, I get really nice cuts on this saw, and have used it for precision cutting of PCBs and polycarbonate and other plastics. I really love how well it cuts polycarb and easily cuts 1/2" thick material if I feed it at the right speed, which doesn't take long to figure out.I think the speed of the blade is perfect for a diamond abrasive wheel cutting PCB, but I'd prefer a slower rate when cutting plastics or aluminum (which is also does a splendid job of cutting with the carbide blade). Every now and then the speed of this is high enough to cause an overall vibration in the system that degrades a cut, so a bit of care needs to be taken. For me, this has never been real bad, it's just been sort of a nuisance. The markers on the edge for setting the guide to cut material width are surprisingly accurately placed! I seriously can't believe how close to the dimension I can consistently hit with this saw. I check after cutting with a dial caliper, and I'm happy after every cut.The square included is a bit cheap, but it functions well on the table. For the price, it's a great little saw for working small parts.

This is a great little saw for cutting wood, soft metal and plastic. The vacuum system works to keep the dust down. The table is flat and true and the guide bar works well for repeat cuts.

My hubby bought this mini table saw for my dollhouse miniature hobby. As a lifelong woodworker, he was excited for me to use it. First off, he thought that the blade guard was actually in the wrong place. He then proceeded to show me how to use a table saw properly - and he picked a thin piece of wood to create a little push stick. First pass went fine. Second pass the motor seemed to bog down. Third pass the motor shorted out. SERIOUSLY??? 3 passes into my new saw and it's toast!! What a piece of junk!!

I'm a model railroader and I needed a smaller saw to do the finer work. For the price the saw works great. It would have been helpful if the blade tilted but, I guess you can't have everything. I have another hobby saw that I purchased years ago that I still use, but the blade dosn't go up and down and is twice the size. The sawnis a great deal!

It arrived today. Well packaged and 10 days earlier than expected. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the components. Well made. The mitre gauge is a very neat fit in the slot. There were no instructions apart from blade changing, but you don't need them. It's very simple to put together and everything you need is supplied.. It's a very cute little (tiny) table saw. I made a few test cuts in timber and no problem at all. Blade height is quick and easy. My only complaint is that it came with a US plug, which I cut off and replaced with an Australian plugand the vacuum hose doesn't fit any vacuum that I have seen, but I made an adaptor. I think its a good addition for model makers or anyone who works on small scale pieces. Good value and very cute!

Perfect size for wood or plastic model building. Hose attachment to vacuum cleaner works very well. Quiet while in use. Hubby loves it!
