I only used one of the taps but it worked well. I don’t think there should be an issue with the others.

I don't understand why taps can't also have drill points, makes it annoying to fit to the right spade bit hole, but oh well. Gets the job done and you get 5 different sizes! Home Depot doesn't even carry the 3/4 inch size anymore!

These appear to be carbon steel, not HSS. They are not very hard, don't work at all on stainless steel, not well on steel. ok for aluminum.

I needed to tape some NPT fittings. Searching online, some had bad and some good reviews. So when I came across these, they seemed to be a good value. Plus, I was unable to find any at my local outlets. These fit my needs just fine and did the job.

Comes with 6 taps as pictured. But only 5 are in the case. The other (largest) is in the box. So the case can't hold all of them in your tool chest. I don't love having the cardboard to store them.The largest two sizes are also too large for my largest two wrench. It would have been nice for the set to include a two wrench large enough. I have I think six and none of them can hold the largest size. That said I can use them on my milling machine with a proper collet.. which I also don't have for that size!

The one inch tap has a pitch of 11tpi, when the NPT standard is 11.5I wrecked an expensive fitting trying to clean the threads before I figured this out.Amazon, I think you should either replace this item or give me a refund.
