Bought this baking dish because the “baking for two†recipes call for way smaller dishes than normal. Who has a 7.5†x 5†baking dish sitting around? Just used it to bake a small carrot cake. Result could not have been better. The dish comes with a lid which comes in handy to store any left over cake til the next day. It closes via a vacuum mechanism. Superb technology. It is a deep dish, so this will be a very useful for making small casseroles, lasagnes, etc. beside cakes. Can also go in the freezer, microwave and oven. It is a bit pricey but I would buy it again.

This glass container size 8 x 8 inch, depth 3.35 and square shape is perfect for my family and my refrigerator space needs. We eat a lot of fantastic salads, so this can be filled, refrigerated and placed right on the table. The glass is strong and the lid has a good sealing fit and is sturdy enough to stack other stackable containers on top. I bought it for the shape, size, for salads, veggies and leftovers. I can not verify this company's tempered glass sturdiness for baking, and I prefer glass baking dishes with handles for baking. Also, glass is recyclable, and is better for the planet.

I bought this 8x8 deep dish to fit into a 6-quart Ninja Speedi cooker. It is a snug fit but it works for a deep dish 1/2 size lasagna, corn bread or whatever else one has in mind.Apparently, this is a "frequently returned item", per Amazon. Upon a closer read of the reviews, it would appear a number of other buyers had trouble with a broken lid. Mine appears to be intact but probably not indestructible. (I wouldn't microwave with it or even wash it the lid a dishwasher.)The only quality concern I have concerns a tiny bubble near the upper rim. I am afraid that under the right conditions the air might expand and cause the glass to chip if not shatter. Given that lid defects are arguably more common, I didn't feel it was worth sending this back to roll the dice on an exchange. My only real gripe is the price. So many products currently sold on Amazon, particularly in the kitchen accessory segment, can be found cheaper in retail stores — assuming those items are sold locally. Contrary to years ago when Amazon prices generally beat out conventional retailers — to the point of putting many brick-and-mortar retailers out of business — it seems we customers are not just seeing prices head up in response to inflation but at a premium for the convenience of shopping from the comfort of home.

I really like it so far. It is nice thick glass and bakes evenly. My Jammy Oat Bars looked pretty inside of it.I didht read all the way down or look at all the pics before buying it so I was surprised that it has a little silicone hand shaped vent on the lid. Make sure you take care of it or else the lid will no longer be air tight.

The container is exactly the size we need and in good condition. However the lid is broken although all packages are intact. We need the container right away so did not return it. The broken part of the lid does not affect the airtight seal of the container.
