Lengthen the Life your Batteries

When two vehicle batteries are wired in parallel they have a tendency to charge and drain one another. Installing a relay that disconnects the batteries when the engine is off prevents excessive wear and lengthens the life of the batteries. Whenever you turn your engine back on, the batteries will be connected without any voltage drop to the second battery.

This is a very nice unit. BUT, don't use the lock washers that come with the unit. They put to much stress on the plastic case to tighten down. Use 2 star washers instead.

It has a pretty loud click when you turn the key over. But it’s better than the oem 30 amp unit. I am using my aux battery to power my 1600 watt sound system p=Vi or 1600=14.4i or 1600/14.4=111amps

Although I was able to super glue it back on, the bolt literally snapped off from me just moving it with the wires on it. Don't do that. And don't crank down too hard. The top is all plastic and not strong. But otherwise it's doing the job just fine

Finally I was able to find a relay with enough amperage to power the 12,000 pound winch on my Bronco. Able to remove the manual switch under the hood and replace with this high amperage relay. No longer need to open the hood to use my winch

Using it to split my secondary AGM battery from my lead acid one up front. Been running it for several months now and it's still going strong with no issues. Super easy to set up if you have a basic knowledge of electrical wiring.

Installed on vehicle with bad parasitic draw.Month later vehicle wouldn't start, contactor high current contact terminal broke right off of top. I will not be reinstalling this low quality part as it absolutely has caused me more trouble than it was meant to fix.
