Your cart is empty.Relay Buddy is a quick go/no-go tester for the most common automotive relays. It provides you with an indication of the general health and functioning of the relay switch contacts and coil. Relay Buddy will check the control side of the relay by applying a signal to the relay coil while it checks for proper functioning of the relay contacts. Relay buddy operates the relay several times during each test session as it watches for consistency in every cycle. Relay buddy will fail the relay and light the red LED if any one of the cycles proves unsuccessful during the test session.

This thing works like a charm. If I had more money, I would have purchased the advanced version, but I just wanted in case I needed to test simple relays. It was not able to test my ignition relay on my scion 2011 XD 1.8 liter, but it was able to test other relays. It really helps you diagnose things faster and test them under load. I tested my relay using a multimeter and battery, but I ended up misdiagnosing my crank no start. Thought it was my fuel pump, but it was my ignition relay.

I thank it,s a great tool easy to use and quick checks, only thing bad is you have to buy the $45.00 adapter for the big blade relays.

It's great to pop a relay on and run the test to make sure it's not fading or blown.Need adapters for the small GM based relays as well as the large bladed ones. Keep that in mind when purchasing to make sure that any needed relay adapters are purchased.

Had an electrical issue on a bmw.. fuel pump and fuel pump relay. Got the bmw started with the new parts. Pump was dead 0 psi. Decided to order this relay checker. Kept the old relay plugged it in tested out bad right away. Grabbed a new relay and it tested perfect. Awesome tool!! Deff will help with future electrical diags
