These things are so smooth rolling. I have hardwood floors and these will not Mar up the wood like typical plastic casters. And my chair is silent when moving around. Very comfortable to.

These roll so easy and smooth, it will take some getting used to. I use an office chair in my workshop with a concrete floor. The original plastic wheels wore down to the rims and it stopped rolling. One kick is all it takes to get from one side of the shop to the other. My only concern is getting saw dust in the swivel bearings. We will see...

These are the only kind of wheels people should have on office chairs. I honestly don't know why they still even make the old ones. But these have held up wonderfully for over a year. And were a piece of cake to install.

I finally got tired of having my office chair roll in the wrong direction or bind up when I tried to roll closer or farther from my desk. At first I tried cleaning the castors, but there was too much dog hair tangled in them. I thought these roller-blade style wheels might look strange, but I decided to try them anyway. They were very easy to install, and they roll so easily. I have hardwood floors, so one little push can send me across the room if I put my feet up. I'm glad my grandchildren haven't figured out how much fun it can be rolling around the room on my office chair now.
