Perfect solution for my needs and super easy to assemble! I wanted a rod holder that I could easily drop rods into without fussing with clips. This delivered and is better than I expected. Despite its relatively small footprint, it is equally sturdy with a couple rods, or almost fully loaded up. It holds my larger saltwater rods with no trouble. If you have low ceilings and long fishing rods, this may not work since you need 6" or 7" of addional clearance beyond the length of your longest rod to be able to get it into the holder. Lucky for me, I have tall ceilings and my husband doesn't mind my rods in the living room. Some women clutter up the house with knick-knacks, I clutter it up with fishing gear. Hubby thinks he's a lucky guy!

I bought one for conventional reels, and one for spinning. This makes it simple to manage all my rods. It also helps with maintaining all of my rods. Lines don’t get tangled, rigging on the rods easily seen. Wish I had found and purchased these years ago !
