OK most of my plates are cap standard olimpic and for the most part they are ok. but i have been looking for a nice set of bumper plates for a while and just could not see myself spending 400+ for a seti ended up chatching these plates on sale for less than a 1.00 a pound and with free amazon shiping. now i knew it would take a few weeks to get and todayy i got the first pair the 25 lbs plates in time for me to swap out my standard plates. the rubber smell was there but not too strong and was gone in an hour. the plates them self are perfect and are very accurate. i have 2 x 10 15 25 35 and 45's comeing. and should have the rest of them tomarrow...awsome set exspecialy if ya have prime and free shiping wish i had bought the 55's as well as now they are 149 instead of 109. Saturday got the 10's 15's and the 35's all nice. the rubber smell is a little stronger now that i have 8 plates but it will fade. only thing is one of the 35's the printing / paint ect... if flakeing off but for the price i will use it till it all comes off and i will just use a stemcil and repaint it. other wise i love these plates should have the 45's on tuesday

You will be hard pressed to find a better value for bumper plates anywhere after shipping.These plates come in at under $1 per pound shipped to your door and get as low as 60 cents per pound when on sale.As many have mentioned, the plates do smell, but that is to be expected of any rubber product. A day outside to off gas and then wash with some dish detergent did the trick for me. They aren't odorless, but they don't fill the room with the smell of burnt cigarettes anymore.Weight was also pretty accurate, with them coming in at 35.4 and 35.6 pounds. Roughly in the 1% variance range.If you ever see the 35 pound pair for going for 38 bucks, they are truly a steal.I wouldn't bother with the sets with the barbell. It isn't saving you anything compared to buying the bar separately, so you're better off shopping for your barbell of choice.

These plates are exactly what is advertised. A Mid tier plate and often less than $1 per lbs. the smell described by others is true but gone after an overnight in the garage, nothing compared to stall mats. These are not Rogue or Rep bumpers, and at the price you shouldn’t expect it but they perform well above their cost and will do well for probably 90% of home gym folks. While I use my gear I don’t abuse it so YMMV.

Two things right away.First - the confusion about whether this truly is a pair of plates. Yes you get two plates.Second - the smell. These give a very strong order for several days after first opened. I would recommend putting them in a garage or on a patio for at least a week before you bring them indoors.Other than that they're a great price. They have showed zero issues in regular use after several months and I would definitely buy them again.
