For speedy reminders of what was just recorded, the S713 allows you to listen efficiently with a playback option that is 25-percent faster than real time. With the voice activation, the device will sense sound and start/stop recording automatically, so you'll never waste valuable tape on dead air. And with the tape counter, you can easily cue/review important recordings quickly with the slide-switch button.

I purchased this because I had micro-cassettes that my grandfather had given me. Once I received the product I was extremely excited to listen to the tapes, but I was equally excited because of the quality of service I received. Jay, the seller, included a letter thanking me, an brand new and unopened recorder, and extra batteries for it. I ended up texting him and thanking him for his effort. For an Olympus not very good quality. I had an Olympus which was much better than this. I purchased it on name brand alone and the record and playback sound cheap and noisy. Not happy with my purchase but I needed a tape player for my mini cassettes.
