Lower unit oil must have Emulsification capabilities because there is a 100% chance that water will eventually seep through the seals.

I replace my lower unit oil every year. It might be overkill, but a few $ of preventative maintenance saves $$$$ in costly repair. Johnson HPV Pro is engineered to keep my etec G2 250 HO gears running as smooth as silk!

I bought this before and it does the job quite well with the exception that the jug it comes in is too short to fit the Slippery Pete pump I also purchased. My recommendation is to buy the full Kit with the pump with it.
