I love this little Onigiri kitchen tool! It is super easy to use and clean and is very sturdily made. It is compact and stores away nicely, and can be packed inside a lunch box as well. My kids love helping make the Onigiri and this tool simplifies the process for them. It makes the perfect Onigiri every time!

These are great little molds that allow you to just make your onigiri and then tuck it in the fridge. Very convenient. The inserts fit and press really nicely, and you're not left with a plasticky flavor on your rice! I do suggest sprinkling some sesame seeds (provided you're not allergic) into the bottom BEFORE you put in your rice, and then sprinkle some more on tip before you press the inserts down. The seeds will help create more gaps between the rice and the plastic and it will help with demolding the onigiri. If they're really stuck, just take a butter knife and GENTLY insert it between the rice and the mild and give a little wiggle, do this on all three sides. Other than that, they do the job they're designed to do! I wish they were just a little bigger, but maybe that's just my love of onigiri talking. Top rack dishwasher safe!
