I wound up gifting this to another keyboardist because I was unwilling to attach and detach for every gig. Inserting into the tubes is straightforward, but you can't properly loosen the left/right half from each other where they join. The join is too tight when assembling/disassembling. This makes the insertion process awkward because you have to position both the left and right sides perfectly and insert them both at the same time. Finally found the On-Stage KS7292 which includes an adjustable second tier AND folds down flat with the 2nd tier attached. My problem with most 2nd tiers is that they lack adjustability. Specifically, they're typically too high. Both this product and the On-Stage stand allow the 2nd keyboard to be placed just above (instead of way above) the first. If keeping your stand at home, you can save $50 and this 2nd tier will make you happy. If you're gigging, I recommend throwing another $50 at the solution and going with the On-Stage stand above with the 2nd tier already installed.

This three tier keyboard stand attachment is excellent. It is very sturdy and not hard to attach to a compatable keyboard stand and sets up very easy. The price for such a sturdy product offering many options. Two to three tiers instantly uprades any standard keyboard stand that has multiple options. This is recommenable to anyone that is interested in upgrading thier keyboard set up. The product has impressive reliability and potential, attributed by the capacity to offer substantial variety. This piece of equipment's functionality is not one dementional and allows the user more freedom than some of the "fixed" keyboard stand systems. Four sturdy arms provide considerable dexterity, adjustable depths, angles or 'pitching' with width and height adaptability for a multitude of equipment arrangements and facilitation. This product is worth every penny and has much potential.

This product is good, a bit expensive though! It cost me $170, and for my surprise didn't came with X when arrived. I thought I was buying the complete stand. Also it came with few scratches. The seller should specify way better what you're buying here, since I was not the only one complaining about this.I ended up buying an X to the same company to be able to assemble the full stand for a total of $230.

This is great. Using it with a KS8291XX. Was easy to assemble. Took bout 20-30 minutes to adjust everything where I like it. Seems very sturdy carrying a small moog subsequent 37 synth and a rev2 synth module. They both fit just right. If they were any larger, I might have problems. I like the adjustability of the height and the angles. I have plenty of space to see my keyboard below the synths above. Earlier i was searching for 3 tier keyboards but they took up so much space and vertically were not comfortable to play. This stand extension is great cause now i have access to everything right in front of me. And it takes up minimal space. I would not recommend for a club gig as it takes time to put together. Great for home or studio use.

Nice concept. Easy assembly, but it doesn’t look sturdy. It might easily come off from the main keyboard stand. I certainly don’t want to put expensive synths over.

Guys, this thing is SOLID and heavy. It is well built and worth the money. But it's so good that I need to get a better X stand for the bottom. I got this so I can put smaller keyboards on the stand and it's perfect. Super adjustable!

This worked great for putting gear on second tier that is easy to reach and adjust while playing live.

Didn't actually work with my original stand, ran out and bought an el-cheapo stand that this would work with it. Currently the stand is holding my NI S49 mk2 with a Moog Minitaur on top of it, and the arms are holding my Novation Peak and my MPC Live. Both devices are held firmly and I have little to no concern about them moving.

Be careful, this is only for the second tier (or third tier if you choose) and NOT THE BASE. You have to buy the base separately or have one on hand that'll work with this. Maybe don't include the base in the picture of the box so people aren't mislead into thinking it includes the base.

Muy bueno. Lo recomiendo para home studio en el que todo ya queda armado.
