Ooni Infrared Thermometer
Know exactly when your pizza stone is ready to cook the perfect base. The Ooni Infrared Thermometer with laser pointer will allow you to measure the surface temperature of your Ooni within seconds.
Accurate
For the most accurate reading, simply aim the laser guide to the middle of your pizza stone and the reading will appear on the display screen. Aim for around 752°F (400°C) for the perfect pizza that cooks in 60 seconds.
Digital Display
The easy-to-read digital display, allows you to quickly check how hot your stone is, so you know when to launch your pizza measuring in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. Accurate to within the larger of 2% or 2 °C and range between -30 °C and 550 °C

Getting a proper crust and balanced cook in a wood fired oven requires a close eye on temps. You cannot rely on the built in thermometer. Too hot and the crust is toast, too cold and it is gummy. This is made specifically to help inform you when the oven is at the proper temp. I have had very consistent results since I got the thermometer.

The laser helps a lot in aiming the beam. Delivers quick results nearly instantly. It’s too early for me to tell if it’s accurate, but works very well with the Ooni oven.

So…..if you buy this - you are paying for the Ooni name to be branded on the gun. My wife started using this as a toy for our dog - which I didn’t want her to do. She liked the laser dot because it was bigger than most laser pointers. I bought another one - no name brand for 13.99 and if works exactly like the Ooni. No difference. I got suckered. Save your money and get the generic brand for a fraction of the price

Ich hab eigentlich keinen Ooni Pizzaofen, finde aber das Thermometer von Ooni am gelungensten. Neben der reinen Temperatur zeigt es auch die gemessenen Min- und Max-Werte an. Dazu wird die optimale Temperatur durch die runde Skala hervorgehoben.Für jemanden der Pizza backen möchte, eine klare Kaufempfehlung!Falls hier jemand die Rezession liest von wegen es sei was aufs Didplay gedruckt: es handelt sich dabei um einen Schutzaufkleber der natürlich abgezogen werden soll.
