I dropped this into my Pitboss ProSeries2 850. It instantly spread the heat more evenly across the cooking surface. It is close to the heat sheild that the unit came with, but it is not in the way in my smoker.Super heavy duty. I have yet to excede 350°F, so I can't speak to how it holds up to high temps, but it still looks great with about 300hrs of cook time ranging between 180-270°F.Buy with confidence.

Love this. Evens out the heat on the bottom rack and helps getting the smoke to the product. Like it more each time I use my smoker. Has also reduced the rust in the area right over the burn pot on the drip plate with the added benefit of aiding in the seasoning of the drip plate. Very easy to use and clean. If I could give this 10 stars I would.

I have a Pitboss ps2 1500 and always had a big issue with temps swinging from side to side. Left side was always way cooler than the middle and right. This solves the issue and evens the temps really well.

The diffuser is extremely sturdy and I was anxious to use it in my new Pit Bos Savannah smoker, but unfortunately, the new design of the Savannah Onyx Edition has the pellet auger on the outside of the grill case, meaning they utilize every available space for grill grates, so even with this diffuser only being 4 or so inches tall, it's still too tall to fit under the drip shield. I would definitely keep it if I had a smoker that had more space because this diffuser is extremely thick and feels really sturdy.

I have yet to use my smoker since I installed this deflector but I figured I’d share since some schmuck said it didn’t fit. You have to be a complete idiot to be unable to get this to fit.Happy with my purchase and looking forward to this rain going away so I can put it to good use!

This is WAY TOO TALL!!!!I’m going to have to Cut it Down to fit, so my grates will fit back like they were…. Very Disappointed

Helped even out the temps on my Pitboss Austin XL. Sits a little high for the grease plate to work 100% correctly and a little bit will travel down by the fire pot. But not that big of a deal.

I finally did my homework and came across some helpful YT videos. I purchased the two mods for the curved air gap under the searing plate and a diffuser over the firebox for my PB1100 Pro Pellet and Gas split. I was never able to keep my large low and slow cuts on the pellet grill long enough and therefore they were never as tender as I hoped. The center of the grill would run 20-40 deg right over the firepot and therefore it cooked too quickly. The split version has a small chamber so hard to avoid hot spots.Roasted a 5.5 lb pork butt yesterday for 14 hours and it pulled away from the bone with ease and I could tell it was going to shred nicely. Very happy with these changes and now I have hope for tender brisket the next time I smoke. Thanks very much for these products, highly recommended!
