I bought a total of 4 of these thermometers on two separate orders, to keep track of temperature outside during the winter months. I unfortunately didn’t install the first two before buying more. Plain and simple, device doesn’t work, even in semi cold temps. The fact it has a humidity reading is inconsequential to me. I’d say I have a pretty good sample size, and they can’t blame it on the specific shipment, as they were ordered months apart.The problem with this device, is they are 10-15 degrees off, when it gets cold outside. It’s as if the thermometer is afraid to show a temp below 40 degrees. Even when I know for a fact the outside temp is mid 20s (Fahrenheit), the thermometers will all show 36-38 degrees. I own 4 of them - not a single one is even close to accurate once the temp goes below 40. Complete waste of money. Instructions should say, “open box, throw in trash.â€

I use this for a quick glance in my greenhouse. It’s easy to read (from up close) even if I have forgotten my glasses. Tells temp and humidity. The green range is helpful.

I hung this on a post supporting our 2nd floor sunroom. The thermometer is fairly large, but you have to get right up to it to see the exact temperature. The dial is not that large. It is difficult to see the actual temperature on the old style mercury thermometer more than a couple feet away. It easier to read the centigrade numbers, but they have little meaning to me. Wish I had made a better selection.
