These seam rippers are good for an occasional use. I use them in classes, but encourage my students to purchase their own, more comfortable and ergonomic seam ripper.

I go through a lot of these seam rippers. I misplace them all the time, also let others use them and never get them back. I have enough now to last for a while. The rippers are very sharp and do a great job taking out a bad seam!!!
