*This is review is by Niall*After having a frustrating time with my last dash cam due to phone connectivity issues, I was looking for something easier, a plug in and record device as opposed to trying to connect it to a phone first.Searching, browsing and even more browsing and with so many other dash cams on themarket, we're certainly spoiled for choice.Until I saw the Pelsee P10 Pro 10" 4K Mirror Dash Cam.A simple plug in and play set up. Exactly what I wanted. But not only that, they have safety systems built in, which I was impressed with and hadn't seen it on any others..at this Pelsee price too that is. Affordable but not breaking the bank. These safety systems were for Advanced Driver Assistance System and Blind Spot Detection. After installing it over the rear view mirror, the rear dash cam is certainly sturdy and not going anywhere. The straight forward setup up of settings, correcting the time, turning the safety systems on or off and calibrating the sensitivity of it. A breeze to do.Having now used it for a solid month I certainly do feel so much safer behind the wheel knowing if ever I'm in an accident, the Pelsee rear view dash cam has me covered at the front and the rear. It detects people and other cars swiftly, with beeps letting me know if there's a car coming up behind me left or right. With brilliant 4k resolution on both cameras BUT drops slightly to 2.5K at the rear cam if the safety features are on. Don't worry, that's still fantastic clarity to view the footage in.I did have queries though, I didn't like the fact that it automatically started recording as soon as the dash cam turned on, I felt it was wasting footage before I even set off driving so I asked if there would be an update in the future for disabling that or have a setting where it would start recording when the car is then in motion.Query 2 was that on the split screen for front and rear, would it be possible to switch the rear view to the left and the front on the right, I felt it'd be easier for my eyes to quickly see behind if it was closer to me.That may have been a more personal note I had but I was assured by Helen in support that it'd be something they'd look into. So yes, they are taking notes of any issues we have to then maybe update them in the future.I did however run into an issue viewing the files on a desktop. The third party app for viewing it wasn't wholly compatible. An email to the ever helpful support of Helen guided me in the right direction. Apparently I had to slightly change each file name on the front and rear video files then I was able to view both video displays simultaneously. Happy days.Another hiccup I discovered was that when it's raining, the rear lens gets quite fogged up and misty making it a little difficult to see behind. It's just a big blur of lights behind you with no outline of cars.I'd suggest to maybe invest in a lens protector for that rear camera..or a camera shield. Maybe something Pelsee could include in future packages? With this unknown to me brand, originally, I wasn't sure about buying but after other stellar reviews, now knowing it's a quality product and well designed and researched, easy to set up and absolute reassurance that Pelsee has me covered when out driving, I'm delighted I purchased this rear view dash cam.

The camera system was actually really easy to install. I have had it for about 2 weeks now. In that time it has saved me from a couple issues on the road. The quality I really good too. The video on the front unit is 4k and looks really nice. The rear camera is 1080p and looks good too. The night vision works well and allows the camera to see at night. The voice controls are so cool and it can hear me over my music most of the time. I can also use the touch screen controls to change the camera view. I like how easy it is to adjust the settings and learn how to use the camera system. The GPS unit did quit working but support responded to me in less than 24 hours, they are very friendly and are sending out a replacement for the GPS. This kind of support makes me feel that I made a great choice when buying Pelsee brand.

PROs:Excellent forward camera imagesGood rear camera night imagesExcellent daytime viewingExcellent night time viewing*Note*Adjust the mirror/ display so that glare from rear headlights don't obscure images. It has excellent viewing angles so tilting the camera up or down will take care of that issue.Cons:Lens flareOverly sensitive vibration/ crash sensor -Sensor will trigger a locked photo/ crash detection regardless of the sensor adjustment.Other:Value for money: It's definitely worth the money spent.Size: The dash camera is definitely a great size and aesthetics are great as well. I personally wish it was a little wider but that's neither a pro or con and is my personal preference.Heat resistance: The unit has held up for just over a year in a car with a black leather interior so it seems to be pretty good in that department.Speed: The unit is responsive. Some lag is noticeable while navigating the menus but it's not enough to knock another star.Aesthetics: The dash cam blends well into the interior of the car. The rear camera is small enough that it doesn't obstruct the view out of the back window. The GPS unit was a nice addition that is accurate. I've not tested it other than it always matches the direction on my phone which isn't paired to it.Wishlist: You can find a polarized lenses for most front cameras. Would be awesome to have a polarized lens for the rear view camera to reduce/ possibly eliminate most of the lense flare/ glare from headlights etc. I have tried to find a polarized lens to go on the rear camera of this setup and haven't had any luck so far.Minor complaint: The microSD card is difficult to access. This tends to be the standard when it comes to these and other mirror style dash cameras. Some are on top while others are on the bottom of the unit. The top mounted ones tend to require you to remove the unit in order to access the memory card. The bottom mounted ones tend to have the issue where the card will fall onto the floor. Sure would be nice if the card location was in a position where you can access it rather easily. This unit also has issues regarding sd card access. It's not really a con but is something that you might want to know about. So for my use case it would be nice if these had a side mounted microSD card slot.

The Pelsee 12 PRO is a fantastic dash cam with crystal-clear 4K video, a wide-angle lens, and an intuitive touchscreen. The rearview mirror display and parking mode add great convenience and security.I had a minor warranty issue, but Pelsee’s customer service was outstanding—they quickly diagnosed the problem and sent a replacement within days.Highly recommend for top-tier quality and support!

I bought this mirror dashcam for my mom's car. She likes it because it does not obstruct her line of vision while driving. The setup was easy and tidy, without extra stuff sucked into the windshield. The touchscreen mirror is much larger than the factory mirror, so it gives a far wider coverage on the rearview. Upon checking on the output, the videos were very bright and clear. They are automatically looped in the inserted 128g sd card. Overall, I find it a great product. Good value for the money.

I bought it for a long time and forgot, it was in the garage for a long time. Just installed on , I am not good at installing equipment. But it is simple and easy to install, the product looks very beautiful and popular state-of-the-art design. It has high-definition video on the front, a very large screen, and a rear camera with a wide reversing image. It works well even in the dark of night. It is the perfect combination of rearview mirror, dash cam and backup camera. One of its problems is that there are many lines. I will hide it on the edge of the car, so that it looks beautiful.

The Pelsee P12 Pro is a really good quality 4K mirror dash cam. The dash cam is simple and easy to instal and fixes onto your existing mirror, it comes with a rear view camera, GPS sensor and 32GB memory card. The front facing camera records in 4K and the rear camera records in 2160P. The dash cam works as a mirror but can also function as a playback device too. When reversing it pulls through the camera feed onto the screen and it has loads of features that make it stand out from other dash cams in the same price bracket.Overall the device is great, it's ver easy to install, although the rear camera does still need to be wired up, so you may want to get a professional installation for that. That aside it's simple and easy to setup and use and it produces very high quality images both day and night.

I have owned other branded mirror dash cams, this seems to be far superior in quality. The installation was straight forward and I have been able to conceal the wires. The quality of the video play back is excellent. The camera has a clear view in day light and at night, previous cameras that I have owned have had issues with night time video capture, however this camera does not suffer from that. Reversing has now been made even simpler with the aid of the mirror dash cam showing full high resolution rear view images. The menu screen is user friendly and easy to navigate.I have added images that show the final position and concealed wiring cables placed behind head lining.Images also show the power supply cable routed within window pillar and under dash to utility plug. I will be investing in a hard wire kit shortly.Utilising the supplied facia tool the cable to the rear camera location is lost behind the various finishes to provide a concealed installation with minimal disruptionThe kadjar facilitates easy access to run the rear camera cable through the tailgate by removing the rear light access cover on the tail gate and one of the hand pull recess moulding provides access to feed the cable to the camera postion. My images also show the camera mounted using two supplied screws with pilot holes into plastic number plate lighting assembly. I found a bonus a pre drilled hole is already provided on cars like mine where reversing cameras are not fitted as standard. I must add, the camera can be detatched from the cable by way of the very small inline multipin plug and socket. The only issue is the existing window cover for the auto wipers and lane assistance reduces the upper part of the cameras line of sight in this application, however, this is not the fault of the camera.overall very please with the camera and would recommend this brand over the others.
