This cord is great! I bought it to upgrade the factory provided cord on my 2013 Dutchman Aerolite Trailer. It fit perfectly into the 30 amp twist lock on the trailer. The handle faces downward at about 5 o'clock, once push into the trailer plug. Once you have it inserted into the plug, slightly turn the handle downward to 6 o'clock and it will stop, locked onto the plug. Then, slide/align the cord locking ring onto/over the plug locking ring and twist slightly to lock the cord/handle to the trailer plug, easy and simple. This is a high quality unit and the yellow cord is pretty flexible making it easy to coil up after use. It fits great, locks on tight, and hangs the cord straight down towards the ground.

Connects perfectly with my Marinco 30 amp power. I had to turn the outlet on my trailer to lineup with the cord so the handle would point down to reduce stress on the cord. Almost wish I went with the standard cord instead of switching everything, but once completed it's not a problem. Just realize some installs of the 30 amp may not have the prongs aligned for this cord to point down.

Only gave it four stars for one reason as it is a great cord, especially for the Marinco Easy Lock connector. If your "L" shaped pin is in the 7 o'clock position, as in the attached pictures, the handle will not face down but can be fixed.Problem - On my Marinco 301EL Inlet, when the cord was connected the handle did not face down which kinda defeats the purpose. It was about 45 degrees off. Contacted Marinco and was told the inlet could be rotated by removing it and then taking out the three screws that hold the male electrical part to the cover, rotating it and putting the screws back in. After removing the inlet and the three screws, it could be rotated but there were no holes in the cover to put the screws back in, in the new position. I contacted Marinco to find out why this was? Have not heard back yet as it was Saturday. Maybe the 301 EL inlet I had was a older version? Since I had it all apart this is what I did. With the original screws in place I drew a circle, around the electrical part, on the cover so I knew the exact position. I got lucky, I guess, as when rotated to the proper position one screw lined up. I tightened that screw with the electrical part centered in the circle I drew. I then marked the other two holes. I checked the depth of the existing holes and put a stop on a 1/6" drill bit and very carefully I drilled two new holes making sure the drill was perpendicular to the cover. After drilling I reattached the male electrical part in these new holes and put the inlet back on my RV. Worked great but did take some time to do.

Love the 90* hookup. Very sturdy heavy duty cord.

The 90 degree angle doesn't stress the connection. Great product.

Avec son angle de 90*, le fil reste près du VR.

It's pretty good quality but it doesn't lock in as well as the original one did. Really have to tighten down the ring to keep it from spinning. I do like the yellow colour though, easier to avoid tripping over.
