The replacement instructions were clear and accurate for getting the mirror removed. However, there are several things I want to add:(1) I’m not certain that the arrangement of the heated mirror wires matter because it’s DC current. You should be able to put either wire on either terminal, but you could use some tape around one or both wires to label them before removal to play it safe. The only risk you run is that your heated mirror will not work.(2) The contacts for my heated mirror were corroded and would not easily slide off. Place a slotted screwdriver at the bottom of the female terminal (to car), then gently twist it back and forth to break it free from the male blade (on back of mirror). You should now be able to wiggle the terminals apart using only your fingers.NOTE: You could also use pliers to grab onto the female terminal but be careful to not use too much pressure or you could crush one or both terminals. These are still required for the new mirror so go slow.(3) There should two white, curved plastic strips attached to your old mirror, see my #1 pic. You will need both of these for your new install, so make sure to remove and set them aside for later. A better suggestion is to leave them on the old mirror until they’re needed, so you can see where they go and the direction they be should installed.* Both strips should be popped out of the old mirror AND onto the new mirror when they are parallel—not perpendicular—to the mirror. In other words, they should be lying flat and not pointing straight up (which is the direction needed for the final install).** The curved ends should bend away from the mirror and not back towards it when lying flat.*** Flip both pieces straight up once they are snug. They should now curve towards the middle of the mirror.(4) Once you believe the mirror is properly installed, test it by moving it the maximum distance in all directions. Do this with the car window open so you can listen for any unusual sounds.PROS: The installation took me about 10-15 minutes due to a couple of workable issues so I’d rate this a project requiring intermediate skill. Overall, the final fit and function are good. It’s not quite cold enough for the heated mirrors, but I should be able to use them soon and will provide an update.CONS: My biggest issue was reinstalling the white plastic strips. They moved back and forth quite freely in the old assembly but kept popping out on the new one. I eventually placed the mirror down on the bubble wrap it came in to protect the mirror surface, then pressed down—firmly but gently—on the center of the blades using the flat tip of a slotted screwdriver. Once they were in place, I then began gently working them back and forth. I did this 10-15 times until they stayed in place but would move freely.OVERALL: Prompt delivery. Protective packaging. Great price. Moderate DIY project. So far it looks and works as expected.UPDATE: We had our first hard frost. The mirror heated up quickly and worked as designed. It’s also remained firmly in place and I remain completely satisfied. I'm going to change my rating to 5 Stars for value and performance.

No complaints . Delivered on time and easy to install. Watched a 2 minute YouTube video and had my mirror replaced in the same amount of time. No issues with clarity or fit, it's secure. I don't use the heating element, so I can't speak to that; but everything else works and looks as intended. It was also the best price on the market at the time of purchase.Edit: I want to amend my original statement regarding clarity - Although the mirror works as intended, easy to install etc., I noticed a difference in clarity from my factory mirror once driving. The reflection is skewed and cars/objects look much farther away than they truly are. I'm not particular about it, but I imagine some will be.

This part seems to be identical to the original right side mirror of 2013 Volvo S60 it replaced, all were made in England. As the other reviewer pointed out, the mirror comes with missing two white flaps, but you could reuse the two from the old mirror. The problem is that my mirror hit a plastic divider and came flying out of the housing with two electrical wires for the heater element kept it hanging on the car, and with only one white flap still remaining. So I installed with only one flap. The functions of the mirror don't seem to be affected, but I wish the part came with the two white flaps, to make the installation more "complete".One star off for missing the white flaps.

The installation was easy, I just needed to use a flat head screwdriver to install the white tabs from the old mirror onto the new one. Make sure to save these as this mirror does not come with the tabs! Other than this it just clipped right in and the wires for the heating element connected super easily without any tools. The mirror even came with a plastic trim tool to help get off the old mirror but I just used my finger after turning the mirror all the way inwards. The new heating element works great and I have definitely had to use it over the last week in a New York snow storm. So far it is a great cost effective replacement for my 2012 Volvo s60. I am very happy with it
