Pasta Making Tips
If the dough is too sticky/wet before rolling, knead with some flour at a time until the stickiness disappear and add flour in the rolling shaft inside.
Try to dust rolled dough sheet with "00" flour before next rolling and cutting, this is very important to get perfect pasta noodles.
Turn Mixer Speed Setting to 2 or 3 when using Roller attachment while 3-5 Speed for Cutters for better performance.
Cleaning Tips
Do not wash or immerse in water! Also not Dishwasher Safe!
Clean it by slight damp soft cloth, also the Cleaning Brush can help remove bits of flour and pasta.

This actually works!Fits our Kitchen aid mixer and we make great pasta with it every month. It is still working almost a year later.Pros: metal parts are made well, easy to use and adjust settings.

This company goes above and beyond to resolve any issues at all.I have read some of the negative reviews on this item. I have used mine a few times now and I would like to state some issues and what I have found about this item.First: if your pasta is more of a "wet" type old time recipe, you can not use this item to press or cut your "wet" pasta.Second: If you are attempting to make egg roll wrappers, this is the item you want to use. Start at the largest setting, fold dust with flour and run back through, drop down the thickness 1 number lower each time remembering to lightly dust with flour if needed. Once you get to 3 you will want to start gently pulling the edges to ensure it's the full width of the press. Make sure you don't let the past lay over the cutting side or it will grab the pasta/dough. You will need to gently support the pasta as it goes into the press - this works best on #2 on your kitchenaid stand mixer.I think most of the negative reviews have been due to the inexperience of the person using this item. with some time and practice this machine works amazingly well.

I only removed 1 star because you have to pull the pasta apart after you cut it. Every other noodle seems to stick to each other for some reason

The gear broke the very first time we used it.Got this with the kitchen aid mixer as a Christmas present. We just tried to use it for the first time. It went crazy and started cutting when it should have been rolling. Then it just stopped working all together. We tried cleaning it. We opened it up and found that the gears were completely broken.Not worth the money!!!

So obviously if you bought separate spaghetti and fettucine cutters they would cut better than this one. BUT the roller works great, the cutter works good despite it's aforementioned limitations and the price is unbeatable compared to kitchenaid's own brand. I really like this purchase.

I bought this for my wife who knew for sure that sheรขโฌโขd love making pasta! She did it once-turned out great-however once we realized there was no difference in her pasta (which took like 200 hours) and very good store bought pasta, I doubt she ever uses it again! But this works great!!

I've never made pasta so I purchased this to try with my Kitchen Aide mixer.Works fantastic. Very easy to use- you literally turn the dial.The tricky part is the dough itself. I've tried a few different recipes so I'm learning which dough works best and others that are more difficult to put through the rollers.
