This is tall enough for the girls to get in a good stretch and they love to play with the dangles. We've had it for about 6 months. It is sturdy, was easy to assemble, doesn't take up much floor space and they use it daily.The unit is holding up remarkably well. We have 2 girls, about 7 lbs each and they are very skittish. We have trouble trimming their nails because it's so stressful for them (and us!). The heavy sisal has been a great way for them to keep their nails in check - between vet appointments. Highly recommend.

my cat loves this little scratcher post! i’ve had it for about a year now and it’s still in great condition even though it gets beat on daily. and it looks cute!

I couldn't keep him off of it while I was putting it together. I've had it several months and it's kept up great they use it every day and even play around it. It's small enough to fit anywhere I live in a 42 ft camper and it sits next to the table and the cats have full access to it.

My cats immediately liked this tower, but maybe liked it too much and almost immediately also broke it. The center column rises up from a "split" in the base with a washer that is meant to hold it up by pinching the two pieces of particle board between the bottom of the tower and the washer on the bottom of the piece of wood. This means any force pushing on the center tower is multiplied many hundred times to press on that washer, against crumbly particle board, and will quickly tip over, ripping out of the base.I solved this by buying a $2.50 5x8 sheet of metal plate in the plumbing aisle at Lowes. I then drilled a hole in the center of this plate, and put the center column screw through this plate. Now it is much sturdier, even with the small hole the washer made in the base when it ripped through.If this came with a metal plate or at least a 3" or larger washer, to support the bottom, or came with a solid base w/o the split in the middle, this would be a good product. But as is, it is only good if you add this plate.(Note, if you do this, be very careful drilling the hole, I didn't clamp the metal sheet well enough and when the drill broke through it kicked out and cut a 4" gash in my shirt, nearly slicing me open, that is purely my own poor skill though).
