I was surprised to find out that that this item actually but it did and it worked perfect! I do not do any bitcoin, I only purchased this external adapter so that I could connect a new GPU to my small desktop. My GPU was pretty big so it did not fit inside of my desktop case so I purchased this adapter to connect it from the outside and it work.I was a little unhappy that there is no case of this PCI adapter at all so it just hangs off my desktop computer from the back and it looks kind of messy and ugly but the point is that it works! I just cannot believe that no one has even bothered to manufacture any cases for this adapter like they do for external hard drives but I guess this device is not very common so it makes sense to a certain point.But it would be nice if this company or any other company on Amazon would eventually sell cases for this adapter not only for looks but so that we can protect the PCI adapter from any outside accidents such as splashing water on it which almost happened to me!

I bought this and had it sitting for a few weeks, finally got the graphics card last night and so far it is working great, we will see how long it lasts. if it lasts a year or longer I will be happy

Can't see how this product get a 4-star rating, put it in HP Prodesk 600 G5 in the 16x and 4x slot, the Power cable, and USB cable to the unit got insanely hot and would not even let the computer boot. Took it out of the Computer and everything happy - went with a Zotac GT 1030 Low Profile instead.

i moved my desktop pc to a 1 server rack vps. works great i have it pluged in to a pci card slot onserver rack, with usb to out side of rack to a mini tower with power supply for video card to riser.works great on server poweredge r610 i do recomend this to other server home hosters.running windows 10 pro, all updated, 9tb space on server rack, 60 gigs ram, 16 cores.works great for a gameing pc, so i do recomend this to people who needs a video cardon a server rack pc desktop......

Great Riser. DO NOT USE SATA POWER. Find a splitter for your PCIe power but don't use sats. I have seen too many burn up the sata connector.

After 1 month of 24/7 usage I did not have any failures.I have to note this is an older model - I cannot compare with the latest updates.

I've only ever used one PCI riser adapter but I did not have any problems with this one. Worked as advertised.
