Added a couple of USB-3.0 ports on the front of my PCin the 5.25 slot. The unit came with a USB-C port but my MB had no output for this type of cable. This adapter was a nice easy solution to get the connection up and running. Connected an iPhone to see that it is functional, no idea about the speed.

This allowed me to connect my case USB C to my AM4 motherboard that did not have the type-c header. Speeds have been good although limited by PCIe x1 2.5GBPS. It does provide power but I haven't tested how well it does a a charger.

My new case has a USB-C plug on the top of the case, but motherboard didn't have the connection. This fit the bill, but the connecting plug was broken, so couldn't use. Going to reorder, hopefully better luck.

If you're doing a home build or just need an add-on? This works fine

I'm happy with this USB 3.0 PCIe upgrade card from RIITOP. I have an older media center PC with limited USB 3.0 ports, and this add-in card was an easy way to add internal headers for both 19-pin USB 3.0 ports and a Type E USB-C port. It allowed me to upgrade my case with a new USB front panel, making it much easier to plug in modern USB storage drives. I can also see this type of add-in card being useful if you're integrating older hardware into a modern case, which typically features USB 3.0 and USB-C ports instead of USB 2.0 nowadays.
