The ability to just strip away the layers to reveal more charcoal is awesome. But what's not awesome is how the paper can sometimes get stopped by other layers. This means you have to either repeatedly peel layers or just rip the one near the tip to get to the charcoal.It's great for the most part just know that sometimes God hates you and wants you to suffer 🫤

I've recently started taking a basic drawing classes at the local community college. I found these charcoal pencils to be perfect for my needs. They sharpen to a nice point and the three different grades of hardness give a nice variety of shade value. The charcoal blends nicely and is easy to use an eraser as a drawing tool on the charcoal.I've attached my first drawing using charcoal and these pencils made it easier than I expected.

I am used to using either willow or hard compressed charcoals these seem to be right in the middle and produce a nice dark line without being to hard, even though it’s peel and sketch you still want to sharpen up with a craft knife but it saves breakages and covering yourself in charcoal dust, will buy again.

Die Kohlestifte habe ich mir auf Anraten eines Künstlers gekauft. Guter Abrieb. Auch toll die Peel Funktioniert. Zu dem Knetradirer kann ich nichts sagen, da ich ihn noch nicht ausprobiert habe.
