I had to get a cart to help me carry my kayak from my car to the water, and this foldable cart is very well-made very easy to assemble, and it’s pretty. It came with straps so I didn’t have to worry about getting extra straps to tie it down and once I figured out how to pull my kayak, it worked beautifully. Actually it worked better than I thought it would and the value is well worth the price.

The product is light weight and folds easily for storage. The quality is a little above average. The biggest issue I have with this thing is an actual place to hold the strap to. I finally figured out this messy setup that holds well (see pic) but it's far more annoying than just running a strap over and under, and cinching down. When you do it that way, it falls off or twists at the slightest resistance. They should provide instructions on properly strapping it down, with pics. Overall, it works well and is fairly solid for my 14' hobie perception.

I acquired a rotator cuff tear through lifting 50 lb kayaks too much. I needed this cart to continue paddling and it works very well. It has a stand and stands up on its own while you move the kayak onto it. It takes some getting used to learn to balance the kayak near the middle which makes for easier rolling. It rolls very well and seems well made.

I purchased this cart because they claimed it worked with all Perception products. Due to the shape of the Outlaw 11.5 the cart only contacts the center section of the kayak and will not work. The Outlaw is built like a Tritoon boat hull and will require a cart that clears the center part of the hull. Sorry Perception but you need to make sure your cart works before claiming it fit all your kayaks!

Works good just alittle tough to keep trapped to kayak it keeps on slipping off .... but strap is long enough just have to work at keeping it strapped... but awesome product and helps out alot when strapped right..

The cart itself is fine. The straps however are not long enough or wide enough for our 11 1/2 ft. Perception Tribes. Based on other reviews, we purchased longer straps. But there are no proper instructions on how to attach the kayak to the kart. It took us five launches to make it work so that the kayak did not slide off. We now thread the straps through the handles and then down and around the bar closest to the wheel on each side. Now the kayak stays on the kart. We have to take our Kayaks down a parking ramp from a second floor garage, through deep grass and down a boardwalk to get it into the water, but it works just fine once. I cannot understand why the Perception videos don't provide more helpful information.

I used the Perception cart on a rocky curved beach and it worked great. I've placed it on the bow and the stern and it handles my 50 lbs kayak fine. The kickstand is spring loaded with good amount of tension, a nice feature I wasn't expecting. The width is the key to this cart's stability. A little pricey but it's really a quality product. The wheels are said to be foam but they look like molded plastic, regardless they worked fine on the sand.

First of all, the cam strap that comes with the cart is USELESS. It's plenty long enough, but there's absolutely no texture on the strap itself, so the teeth of the cam buckle have nothing to grip. I don't know why the people at Perception thought that completely smooth and silky straps were a good idea, but I digress.Once I figured out where to position my kayak on the cart (about in the middle, feeding the cam straps through the side carry handles on my Perception Tribe 9.5 sit on top), and swapped the factory strap for one of my own, this cart made transport SO EASY!!!!!Would rate 5 stars, but that strap is useless.

I received it today and headed to the beach. It works great in sand and on pavement. I use it with my 18 foot sea kayak and would recommend it to anyone. I've used a smaller cart for the last 3 years and has worked great but this one is so much easier to use in sand.
