This is the one. It has flat wires you can't feel. You can put a waterproof cover OVER this and it works fine. That means way less (none?) washing, which is the enemy of these things. The plug-in spots on the pad are in the right place down the vertical portion and go unnoticed during use. The heating is excellent, even, and goes all the way to the edge of the bed, which is a nice touch that not all of them have. And now for the MOST IMPORTANT thing. The controller. It is so beautifully simple! Many other models come with silly over-engineered digital controller pads with 4-6 smooth buttons that are effectively indistinguishable when fumbling around in the dark half asleep. You have to physically look at the display with your eyeballs to adjust the temp. That's bad! This baby has an on/off button and a huge dial! That's it. Awesome! You can adjust it in pitch darkness without looking. That's a big deal. Think about it. You don't need 15 stupid gimmick pre/post/timer/ heater/this/that/settings all controlled by a 8 button, 30w super bright led display that stares at you like the Eye of Sauron all night long. Useless. Beyond useless, actually irritating! This unit's controller reminds me of a Toyota 4runner's huge HVAC control knobs. Intentionally huge and easy to use. You could operate this pad's controller wearing sealskin mittens. No joke. It also has 3 nice feet that grip very well when clean. They wipe clean with a swipe of a finger and grip like new again. Nice. No need for double stick tape to keep the cords from pulling it off the nightstand. My previous garbage unit's (SunB) controller was too light and had crappy feet, leading to many late night crashes (sorry for waking you honey) occuring while fumbling around, trying to figure out which of the 4 identical buttons I just pushed. Just a dumb design. This is 100% a case where a dial control is absolutely superior to buttons. It's the same reasons vehicles still keep volume and heater knobs. They are the best solution for certain applications. This happens to be the same. Sadly, a rando layperson like myself seems to grasp this concept better than the majority of mattress pad designers.I've had like 5 of these things. All different brands. This is the one.

This mattress pad is the best design we have ever bought. The low voltage, small diameter wire, creates a comfortable warm all over feeling. But. Despite having a 5 year warranty, it won't last 5 years. We bought ours 1 year ago. The manufacturer does not respond to emails, their toll free number is out of service, and they do not respond to Amazon Messaging service. So, basically there is no warranty service. All that said, no one makes a heated mattress pad like this. And when it works, it's great.

I have an older house that has been retrofitted with central air and heat. However, the bedrooms do get a bit colder, so I have been using space heaters to reduce the electric bill from the central heat. Strangely enough, I had bought a heating pad for my 15 year old cat and he loves it. This led me to look at getting an electric blanket for the bed which led me to the heated mattress pad. The product makes a lot of sense, just like in the 18th century where they use to warm the beds with bed-warmers, the pad gives a nice heated foundation. Now I feel warm while the room air stays a little cooler and I save on the electric bill.I had first bought an electric pad at the store, but it had the more conventional heating cords and made the bed lumpy. That is when I found this and even though it is a bit stiffer than I would have thought, I do not feel the individual wires. The controls are great. Being able to adjust each side independently makes it wonderful for each person to control toward their individual needs. I keep mine a bit warmer. The temperature is warm and not hot, even on the highest setting. Although I was a little worried at first, it provides more than enough heat for me to be comfortable. I have found myself adjusting the temperature in the morning as my body temperature changes. The one nice feature is that the bed adjusts very quickly to the request of a temperature change request. o, no long warm-ups and waiting a long time for a request for a lower temperature. I think this is a great product.

Nice and Cozy - fitted well with my King size pillow top. I can keep the heat down in my bedroom and save electricity costs. Variable control from Lo to high, with 10 settings in between. 10 roasts me out of my bed. I usually set it for 3 or 4, and then turn it down to 1 or Lo after I climb in. I can't tell it's on the bed, there are no noticeable wires protruding through the sheets.

Love the heat but one side plug was funky and stopped working after a month. Plus the plugs being at the head end was not a great feature.

Love this mattress heater. I'm asleep in minutes. I turn it on HI a few hours before bed, shut it off when I go to bed and have a great night's sleep. My previous one (from the Beam of the Sun) was a product that lost heating ability every year until it no longer functioned. They told me that was part of their design??? This one is perfect. Plug in can be top or bottom of the bed and the area that is heated is also much bigger than the "other" one I had. This has heat right to the top and all the way to the bottom of the bed surface.

After a full winter, we live this. The micro wires make it comfortable. The controls are simple. The heat range is good for all situations. Great value.
