I own a semi. I keep this in my toolbag as space is limited. It doesn't last that long but then again you shouldn't expect it to. Anything that heats uses alot of energy. Nice and compact and works as it should. Nice feature: the charge port is the same as my phone.

I was only able to get it to work twice when I first got it, but it has never worked when I needed it to, and now I can't get it to turn on at all. The very short time it was able to turn on at all, it would lose its charge extremely quick (without usage). Absolutely a waste of money and my patience.

I'm a mechanic for a school district. Buses are full of electronics and occasionally wiring issues. I bought this for use on heatshrink tubing and connectors. It works but it is slow, very slow. Heat gun or micro torch is instant and job done. This tool takes time to turn on, Heat up, shrink tubing or connectors then power down (over 5 seconds holding tiny power button down).Good points: small enough to carry in hand while carrying crimping tool, works for small 1 or 2 wire fixing jobs that time isn't an issue, and it's inexpensive. Battery holds a full charge for weeks so it doesn't require being plugged in all the time.Down side: very slow for heatshrink and doesn't get heavy heatshrink tubing hot enough or evenly shrunk. Turning on and off seems like it takes longer than expected. Conclusion: I am keeping the tool because, in my opinion, it has a use for me at times. I just wish the tip was a bit larger in diameter and gave little more heat to get done in a timely fashion.

I have heat guns in my shop, but none in the house. I specifically needed a heat gun, for straightening feathers, when tying fishing flies and did not want a power cord in the way. This one is perfect. It recharges with a USB, is adequately hot for any household use, and the price was definitely right. It may not be right for large jobs. It will run for about 10 minutes at full heat before needing a recharge. More than what I need for my use.

It shrinks heat shrink. And that’s all it’s intended to do and it does that. But not a lot of heat. So slow. But I’m using it and it’s fine.

I was really excited to get this and use it in most of my automotive installs.Unfortunately the charge doesn't last more than 2 connectors and the heat is minimal. In fact, I had trouble shrinking the connectors at all. The shield is somewhat worthless which should tell you the heat is right at the tip (see product video). If I could do again I would not purchase until the technology is improved.

Just received mine and it doesn’t even work. Literally opened the package and plugged it in and nothing. Does even show that it’s charging. What a waste of money

Heats up fast and has an automatic shut down if it gets too hot. This work much better than ones I have used in the past.
