Bought for my 1995 c1500 with a 305 5spd because it was recommended by tbichips.com. It cleaned up the smell from my exhaust and the truck runs much smoother I even gained 2 mpg. When putting this in a c1500 you need to drill out the brackets on the old could and use the bolts in the bag to bolt the brackets to the flame thrower coil. I would definitely recommend this

If your putting it on a tpi car plan on saving the old bracket on the coil witch is rivited on must be ground off to reuse

Purchased this for a 94 GMC Sierra while doing a tune-up and this created a mess. Truck developed a misfire shortly after. Almost like a shortage of fuel, or similar to a float in a carburetor sticking. After combining through possible solutions and updating other things like the timing chain and distributor, I finally started backtracking for the solution. Unfortunately, this coil was the culprit. Product looked great, but performed like trash. Hopefully, for everyone else, my coil was a fluke.

Worked great in my 89 blazer. Idles smoother, a little more power. I would get this again if I had another chevy that used this coil.

Product worked intermittently. Some days it would work fine others it would misfire hard going town the road and twice it left me stranded. It dies while going down the road. After waiting 10 minutes and cranking it fired back up. I returned this product for a full refund. I chose this over the MSD initially due to other reviews of bad QC of the MSD but after my experience with this coil I'm going to try the MSD

Ran it for about 6 mo and miss was sporadic and got worse. The molding where the wired connection for the ecm and icm are poor and cause the connectors to slip off. My truck is mostly stock so I don't expect a big result but I don't want the connectors to be loose and cause misfires. I put a new ac Delco in and the connectors hold tight and it runs very well now. I'd like an exchange.
