I’ve had this device for 10 months or so now. No issues! It’s kept me alive without failure lol. I occasionally use this for solo climbing with stopper knots (probably don’t do that lol).It is kinda hard to switch it from lead/top rope but that might just be a me problem honestly. Unpackaging this thing was a nightmare but it’s good they packaged it so well 😂. Works as it should, I recommend it as a safer belay device

I bought this item to use for srt ascending and descending while saddle hunting. So far the grigri+ has worked flawlessly for me no slipping smooth on ascent and descent. So far I'm very happy with this item

I bought this after reading up recommendations for beginner climbing. It's an assisted braking device with auto lock if you pull the lever to far back. It helps locking the rope if you get nervous or freakout while letting someone down, which I naturally used the first few times. I have been using it for around 3 months now. It took a few tries to get used to the device but all smooth once you get a hang of it. It's well made, sturdy, and feel secured.

Great product, and would have give a 5 star if it wasn't so hard to rappel with. It constantly trips the panic feature as I am going over the side of the cliff.

although the panic handel can take a bit to get used to, this is a very good device for helping people learn belaying before they are ready for something without assistance. this is also good for any time you think you will be holding someone (or something) for long amounts of time.

I use this for top rope solo and it is excellent. I have placed my life in the hands of this device multiple times and it has never let me down or led to me feeling any concerns about its ability to catch or rappel down afterwards.It is not cheap BUT you will be putting your safety in this 100% so do not scrimp on cheap alternatives

Wir verwenden das Sicherungsgerät für Toprope als auch für den Vorstieg. Bei beiden Aktivitäten funktioniert das Sicherungsgerät einwandfrei. Besonders die Farbe des Gerätes finde ich sehr ansprechend.

ho voluto provare il grigri di nuova concezione anche se il mio vecchio, della prima serie, continua a funzionare egregiamente. ho scelto il plus perché mi pare abbiano fatto un lavoro improntato alla sicurezza (che non è mai abbastanza). ha delle funzioni aggiuntive come il meccanismo anti-panico sulla leva di calata, un selettore di rigidità della camma a due posizioni e un rinforzo nella zona di maggior sfregamento della corda. il range di utilizzo delle corde è leggermente aumentato. mi resta il dubbio che possa diventare troppo complesso nell'utilizzo. spero di essere contraddetto dalla prova sul campo. per il momento 5 stelle sulla fiducia…
