Amazing headlamp. Basic in the best way. 3 brightness levels but the best part is when you stop at the setting you want, when you go to turn it off it only takes one click rather than having to click through every setting. 3 settings are low, medium, high. No flashing. Love this product. My advice, buy the rechargable battery!

Nice headlamp. Not too big or heavy. But I have found that I really need the red light option, so I bought the Petzl with an added red light.

I bought one of these to replace the old one I'd had for years, which worked great. Right out of the box I noticed that the quality was very different from my old one. I loaded the batteries as directed, and I couldn't consistently get it to turn on. Maybe once in every ten button presses would it turn on. I tried using new batteries and the same problem occurred. I exchanged it for a new one and the exact same problem happened. I'm sure it's possible that I just got two lemons in a row, but it's probably not super likely. It's too bad, I loved the old one I had from Petzl.

My wife wanted something where she could be hands free. This is easy to charge, has multiple modes and the beam can be directed up to down. Easy peasy to use and not heavy. Strap can be easily adjusted.

I originally purchased this for computer building. I’ve used it for countless other chores working inside and outside around the house. One of those tools you didn’t know you needed until you’ve used it. Great to have one around the house!

Das Einsteigermodell vom Stirnlampenpionier Petzl hat alles was Fernwanderer und Zelter brauchen: Drei Lichtstufen, ein im Leuchtwinkel nach oben und unten gut verstellbares Lampenteil und ein gut verstellbares und ausreichend breites Trageband.Die kleinste Lichtstufe reicht aus, um im Zelt etwas zu suchen, die größte Stufe ist zwar kein Fernlicht, aber leuchtet im Umkreis von 10 - 20 m alles gut aus.Wie bei allen Petzl-Lampen lässt sich auch hier das extra erhältliche (teure) "Core" Akkupack mit USB-Lademöglichkeit einsetzen. Für Normalnutzer werden normale AAA Akkus ausreichen, die man zuhause lädt (oder man kauft Alkali-Batterien).Bin rundum zufrieden.

I love the simplicity and durability of these. I have half a dozen in various packs and they've never let me down. Good battery life and light output.
