I have a few Philips smart locks around the house and I have become a big fan of them. All offer a boost in home security thanks to top tier design and build quality. This lock is no exception. Compared to the others I have, this is the "base" model. It doesn't have Wi-Fi or Bluetooth so you cannot be remotely locked or unlocked. Still, it's an excellent lock for those toying with the idea of a smart lock and don't want to spend a fortune. It allows you to ditch your keys to use a fingerprint or PIN code to unlock the door. Installation is easy and it will look good on your door too. All around, it's a solid, affordable lock that will upgrade any home.

I live in an apartment in a not so great area. I will start with what I disliked about this lock, the wire is long. Very long. I have a standard door, and I was trying to install the lock after work, and I was having a hard time with the wire, it kept blocking the cover from going on the stand. Eventually I had to shove a good bit of the wire into the hole, and in the process the wire covering split a little. I had a hard time with the locking the back cover on (but this might just be an me problem, honestly.) And the instructions are small print. In order to change master code, add finger print you need to activate the numpad and type "12345678" and follow the instructions after. I wish there was an autolock function that was shorter time.But what I like is a lot. It's sleek and modern, but that's not a huge priority with me. I NEVER lose my keys or forget them, but I don't have a car anymore so I often carry a lot of groceries up three flights of stairs and I usually have to set my food down to open my door, and I am glad I don't have to do that anymore. The lock itself was easy to install, and I like how you can drill holes into your door for additional security. I like how it doesn't need to be connected to wifi in my opinion this is safer since it can't get hacked. I like the quick lock button, its nice to walk by click a button and then hear a automated voice tell me my door is locked, I do also like how it tells me that my door is unlocked.

I have used other programmable locks, but this one by far is the most amazing and the price is well worth the money! easy installation,quick delivery! works perfectly! highly recommended! I could not be happier!

This is a very strange purchase. Basically anyone who even has access to the inside of the lock for 20 seconds can reset the master password and lock anyone else out. So from a security perspective it's a total fail.On the other hand, for a low-security environment, it's actually quite nice, so I'm not really sure how to review this thing. Also, it doesn't have Wi-Fi at all, and the app is only to use Bluetooth to be able to add one-time codes to it, but once somebody has a one-time code, they might as well have all the codes.The install went well and the thing looks pretty good and works correctly so far. We'll see how it degrades over time and maybe I'll come back and adjust this review.

We tried two other electronic locks before this one finally did the trick. The components were higher quality, it was easier to install and program, and just better all around.

My family are excited to have such a secured lock, especially, with the Finger Print and a secured code, shares with the family and the guests, on top of that, it comes with a keys, this is really a security lock, everyone must have

I have installed it for 2 weeks, so far it works as well as described, finger prints are recognized easily and very easy to set up. I was worried about temperature but it seems no problem so far, I recommend this product.

Pretty straightforward installation. Easy set up. Don’t need neither WiFi nor app. A simple yet sophisticated lock with three options to operate: physical key, pin code or fingerprint. The fingerprint scanner is absolutely fast. I am quite impressed with the quality of this product at such low price point.
