I utilize these for pins for my work uniform on my cover; they do an amazing job of holding them on as well as not falling off in the way that the metal butterfly backers have a habit of doing. They are nice when I need to change and if I misplaced one, and they stay on when I have my hat attached to the outside of my book bag Highly recommend if you need to replace said pin holders on a regular basis
